I just started doing this and recently finished transferring the SS series premiere onto DVD. It's not perfect quality but it's a darn good transfer considering that it's from an SP VHS taped off of digital cable. I hope to do more in the future...unforunately, I'm using my friends equipment...

I think Matt Vogel was playing Big Bird for the tribute. It didn't sound like Caroll to my ears at all.

I'm listening to it right now...it's a charming interview. Diane Rehm seems to have an affection for her subjects and that's nice to hear and I love how Carroll breaks in and out of his character as he's telling stories.
