I just did an A/B comparison of the Video verses the DVD.
The video and the DVD are similar in all but two places (with some awkward zooms cutting off the questionable portion of the frame.
However, there is a place in the DVD around the 1:21:30 mark that the video completely edited out...
I'm always leary of "Best of" or "Themed" complilations. Typically, those releases are targeted for mass audiences who aren't necessarily familiar with the product rather than the invested fan. So we end up with a product that tends to gloss over rather dig deeper leaving many die-hards crying...

I can't seem to find an announcement about the new banner that Jaime has created (it's probably somewhere really obvious that I can't think of) but I just liked it so much that I felt moved to say something about it.

Yup...I loved the Electric Company and still do.
As an adult watching it, I'm amazed by the creativity employed throughout the show. Not just the music, sketches and sets but technically, I think the show is a marvel. You can do a lot with a low budget.
I hate to burst the bubble but Mr. Cleese (however funny he may be) didn't write that satirical piece. The moderator from the official Python message board has posted that Cleese did not write it nor does does he want his name attached to it.

I have a really nice version of Joe singing "Somebody Come and Play" that I took of an early broadcast of Sesame Street. It accompanied footage of a small chimpanzee apparently, looking for someone to pal around with. It's really a nice segment.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Darby Conley's "Get Fuzzy".
