No offense, but that is a very close-minded way of thinking.
Disney Animation should not be expected to make only hand-drawn films. That would be imposing a specific technology on the studio.
As long as the stories are strong, then it doesn't matter what animation medium is used. The STORY is...
Cars 2 involves McQueen racing around the world in the World Grand Prix. That is the reason why they are in Europe in the first place.
Racing; that's a connection to the first movie right there.
That sounds like Cars to me.
I have to say, I will never understand why some people don't like...
Ah...Sorry about that. :o
I guess what I meant was that except for Animal, none of them really had much dialogue. And none of them were around much.
Still, its true; the Electric Mayhem should have been the house band.
It seems that they were trying too hard to make the show "hip" and "new".
Speaking of which, several weeks ago I saw some episodes of Muppets Tonight on youtube. In retrospect, one of the biggest flaws of the show was that The Electric Mayhem was NOT the house band. Instead, they had a new band.
What were they thinking?
Its funny. The cold opening of the pilot...
I don't either.
But I have to say that its refreshing to finally find someone else who isn't on Facebook.
I really hope that Cookie gets on SNL though!
I agree.
David and Frank are doing great.
I just wanted to briefly pop in this thread and say that I saw Tangled tonight at a D23 event, and I enjoyed the movie.
Make no mistake, this film does NOT try to be "hip", and it is NOT at all trying to be another Shrek.
The style of Tangled is very much in the same vein as Snow White or...
It just seems like the odds are against it at this point. After reading Corey's most recent blog posts, I do not have much hope at the moment. Things seem rather grim.
hehehe...
So, I guess the point to all of this is that most of us feel that the Fraggle movie is not going be happening anytime soon. (If at all)
The same goes for The Dark Crystal sequel.
Its a real shame.
I know exactly what you mean. I have had many bad movie theater experiences as well involving kids.
I tend to see movies in the evening, there aren't always as many kids in the audience at that time, and even when there are, they are usually a bit more quiet...Sometimes.
I remember once when I...
I have experienced that very thing myself. I know exactly what you mean. However, that is just an example of kids being obnoxious, not scared. :grouchy:
These films are not just meant for kids though, they can be enjoyed by everyone. :)
Yes, I understand what you are saying.
Although kids tend to be full of surprises, some kids are able to handle scary stuff.
Oh, and since you brought it up. I wasen't sure about Phineas and Ferb at first, but it has some really good humor. Its a fun show, so its not surprising that the show...
Being the third film (and very possibly the last) its sort of appropriate for it to be the darkest chapter for the characters. The most epic chapter, if you will.
The movies were created as if all three were part of one big sweeping story. After tackling the themes of toys being replaced, and...
...Not to get too much off topic, but I just have to add that before Pixar was allowed to have two weeks to turn things around, Disney initially wanted Pixar to shut production down, and lay off a lot of people....And apparently there was also talk about Pixar having to story board the film at...
Yup.
Also, one can gather from the story reel that Woody was holding his status as favorite toy over the other toys' heads, and the bed was obviously a status symbol that only he could be on, and poor Slinky was his helpless assistant.
What I think is interesting is that in the final film Woody...
