Funny how he used to play in all these dramatic roles before he hit it big with Airplane! (Leslie Nielsen Syndrome). It would probably be hard to take him seriously seeing him like that.

I was bummed about this - Airplane and all that followed are some of the funniest movies of all time - RIP Leslie.

My sentiments exactly. Sigh... I'm too depressed to even really comment on anything. Oh, and apparently the guy who directed Empire Strikes Back (the best film George Lucas never made, another director did) bought it too... so yeah. I lost 2 personal film favorites.
