Hey ATP (and anyone else),
I'm heading off to sleep, but it occurs to me you might be interested in the following songs I have:
Alligator King; Alphabet Song (Ray Charles); Reach Your Hands Up High (Lillias White); Word Family Song "OP" (as sung by anything muppets); Lowercase N; Listen to...
Perhaps I should have simply said "in the afterlife" rather than heaven. I didn't mean to make it a denomination-specific post. It's more just, you know, who you'd like to meet that is no longer with us here on earth.
So,
Regardless of whether or not you believe in heaven I was curious to see what 5 people who are no longer with us you would most like to meet. I had a very interesting discussion with someone about this the other day. My rules are that you can't pick more than 3 people associated with the...
The Drifters must have been cool. I got to see Smokey Robinson in Las Vegas on Thanksgiving weekend '06. That was AWESOME! The man has still got it.
I've also seen: Beck (a GREAT performer)
Tori Amos
Sweet Honey in the Rock (awesome a capella group...
This makes a lot of sense to me, BooberGorg. It's like some of those post-rolls shown in Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas, where Frank Oz is just fooling around between takes... makes sense that some broadcasts might choose to show this post roll stuff while others wouldn't, depending on time...
Wow *gets teary-eyed* - the origins of this song are so sad. Didn't realize it was Jeff Moss's farewell song. Guess I'm still not the encyclopedia of knowledge that many MC members are. Steep learning curve here. :)
By now you've probably ascertained that I'm a big Ernie and Bert fan...
Hmm... after seeing the commercial, I have to agree with Snowth and Anytimepally about Eric's Guy Smiley. I don't think the role is quite right for Eric Jacobson. It just felt a little...artificial somehow.
Wow - just discovered this thread. Vic, just wanted to join the long list of people congratulating your creativity. Ever thought of applying for a job with Sesame Workshop? IMO, they could use some cutting edge graphic designers with a good sense of humor. ;) Definitely keep up the great work.
Sylinde,
When you see this, I'd like to make a contribution to your website. What you have done (and are doing) for all of us muppet fans is really terrific.
Is the best way to donate to do so through your website? I saw a link from it, but wanted to make sure that was the best way to...
I think that it was Eric's Miss Piggy from AVMMM that first floored me - I honestly didn't realize that Frank Oz wasn't involved with the project for quite some time! But I have to admit that I haven't rewatched the movie again and again (even though I liked it, own it, and have seen it a...
Hiya,
Kyle, ATP, or whomever, would you mind passing along Bert's "I'm Square" when you get a chance? (no rush) I'm also looking for "Bert's Nap" and "Bert is Sick" which I think are on "Bert's Blockbusters";." Let me know if there's anything I can pass along to any of you.
ATP, thanks...
Are there any news articles someone can link us to about this? I'd like to read more about it, if possible.
I've actually always really liked claymation, so I think this sounds interesting... it'll be tricky to make it work though. Hope they can get the look, movements, and dynamic right.
