Lol, that's funny Redsonga, lol. Anyway, I guess I've always been a bit of a paradox. I don't like girls being brought up to be too "princess-y" and shallow. But I was never embarrassed about watching My Little Pony and other "girly" cartoons (And you can argue My Little Pony was one of the most...
I mean I guess it's good if you don't want to carry around the entire case on a trip. But I wouldn't feel comfortable carrying one page around with the disks exposed like that, even if they are firmly in the slits.
But anyway, can't wait to hear more of your thoughts on the sets! Hope they...
Yeah you guys are right, the sound of a vacuum is just thoroughly unpleasant and no advances in technology have managed to fix that, lol!
On the video of Richard's memorial closing remarks, someone just wrote:
I also recall how Richard had mentioned that Jane Henson wanted flowers for the...
Glad you got it in good condition, Muppetbaby, hope you enjoy the 4th season!
None of my disks were out of the case, but I still don't really understand the logic behind the binder packaging. I mean, why would someone want to remove one of the pages? ::shrugs::
Exactly too often the emphasis in remakes is on "Oh look they're in OUR world!" rather than just concentrating on the main characters' personalities and what made them successful to begin with. I mean, we see our world all the time, what we want is the Fraggles, hehe. Like in Star Trek IV, the...
I've been thinking about this, the premise of the Fraggles going into the modern real world. It's a perfectly acceptable story that's been utilized with older TV shows many times. When a similar idea was done with the Brady Bunch movie, it worked because it utilized a bit of humor and parody...
You know somehow I think Richard would not have approved of the state of my room, to say the least, lol. I almost never vacuum, partially because it scares the puppy, lol.
Oh I know, I discovered who Richard Hunt was a few years ago and before then I hadn't realized that Scooter had been missing from some of the recent Muppet productions. Suddenly his verse in "Saying Goodbye" became much more poignant as, for the first time, I realized there was a person behind...
Yup Snookums was played by a real dog and one of the kennel's Muppet dogs (performed by Richard Hunt I believe) yells, "Hey, Squishy Bottom! Hahaha!" Which I guess was just teasing Snookums for being a pampered little wimp of a dog, hehe.
Well I think Christmas Eve on Sesame Street was sort of intended to introduce kids to the idea of faith in an innocent way, believing in something without evidence. I think overall Sesame Street tried not to favor one set of beliefs over another, which does make sense. I liked it when they...
Hehe, my Grandma's originally from Italy and the family often tells the story of how she nearly tried running away as a child to be with a Gypsy Circus, lol.
Lol, well his Mom did say on the Muppetcast that he had a thing about vacumming the house! ;)
I love that poster's comment "the best day the decade ever saw." A little kid back in the day seeing the Muppets perform just for him would have been very exciting indeed.
That's why the government has been so hypocritical complaining about Obama's so called "Socialism." We're already involved with a troublesome government just to keep up with big business.
My Grandpa considered himself a Socalist btw, lol. He took his sons to see a workers strike at a White...
Lol, that's cute. I imagine it could be one or two colorful remarks aimed at Bunsen (without going into detail of course hehe).
Aw I hate when dreams play on fears like that, like when I dreamed that I missed the Sesame Street event, lol. But since I did in fact make it after all, I'm sure...
You know you have to wonder why Bunsen chose an assistant who didn't talk per se. Though perhaps it was intentional, Bunsen could conduct his experiments with no apparent protests, lol.:eek:
I think that's an example of how the show hesitates to do things now for fear of "confusing" kids, whereas in the past they might have tried to find a way to explain Kwanzaa. Not every single detail, but some way of making it understandable to kids. :)
