Well, Easter baskets tend to have other goodies in them besides candy, whereas Halloween is more-or-less almost exclusively candy, and other similar confectionary treats.
We're looking at rain here for Halloween too . . . but, instead, they're just telling kids to bundle up in winter clothing (even though it's going to be in the upper 60s) and/or take umbrellas, and telling parents to keep their headlights on.

Cons aside, I seem to recall Steve once mentioning it was something he consciously did, because to appear alongside Kermit for interviews and such was more of a "Jim thing," so-to-speak.
For those who say, "Vogel does Kermit like Henson," I guess they'll be pleased to see that like Jim, Matt's done at least one interview alongside Kermit like Jim would do, as opposed to Steve, who prefered to have Kermit fly solo during interviews.
Yeah, some of them are a tad bigger than I wish they were, but, well, nothing can be done about that.
What I don't understand is why Baby Bear is so tiny compared to Telly, when they should be about the same size.
