I had no idea that nuts were apparently high in potassium . . . I understand they're supposedly a good source for protein if you're a vegetarian or a vegan.

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Well, this is really weird! Just yesterday, we were quite above average and unseasonably warm like an early spring day, and now here we are today, and while it's still mild (though seasonable), it's snowing! Granted, the ground is still too warm (and wet from rain) for it to stick, but I guess...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

True dat. I still remember participating in that YouTube blackout alllll the way back in 2009 when we were boycotting them over those Beta Channels that nobody liked. :smirk:

    Remembering Caroll Spinney (December 26, 1933-December 8, 2019)

Similarly, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson died on the same day as well; Farrah was living on borrowed time as it was, so it was clear she was nearing the end of her life, but Michael's death was so sudden and unexpected, so you can imagine whose death got more media attention that day over...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Sooooo . . . it's 10-15 degrees above average in the mid-60s today, which is rather unseasonably warm, doesn't even feel like Christmas, and this after they said December would be below average this year (which, so far, it really hasn't).

    Remembering Caroll Spinney (December 26, 1933-December 8, 2019)

Wow. I mean, just, wow. I was finishing decorating the tree today, finally got the place cleaned up from the mess, took a break to come onto MC, and this is what I see . . . I don't even know how to react to this - the happiest time of year, and this happens. I'm so happy that he at least lived...

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5004 - Getting Dressed, Not Stressed

Wow. What an incredibly disappointing episode. I guess snow on the street is still "too expensive," since literally the location we saw was the front of 123. And even so, the plot being more about Elmo not knowing how to dress as his talking jacket trying to guide him along? Snooze fest. I would...

The "I Saw Something REALLY Weird Today" Thread

That's true. I've heard of a guy who had a pet raccoon that he raised from a pup, and after X-amount of years, one day, the raccoon's natural wild animal instincts kicked in, and scratched the guy's throat out.

    Courage the Cowardly Dog returning?

CN actually did the same thing with Cow and Chicken when it first premiered in July 1997: they paired "Space Cow" with "Orthodontic Police" and the I am Weasel episode "Law of Gravity." Not really sure why this was, but it almost seems like with Cow and Chicken and Courage, they wanted to show...

    Courage the Cowardly Dog returning?

Another interesting thing is with the episode guide in the book, most of Season 4 was aired out of order according to the Stretch Films listings - in fact, most episodes from Season 4 are listed in different pairings in the book than how they were paired when airing . . . but the thing that...
