All of these Standards notes from CN are really interesting - particularly the one that says they can't show blood, which is peculiar, given it wasn't uncommon to see a little blood on Powerpuff Girls.

Once again, I will not be listening to Music Choice's Christmas playlist again this year if they're going to include the likes of Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and any of these other pop stars we have to put up with every other month of the year anyway.

I will say that in the movie itself, Tom Hanks was actually a little better as Mister Rogers than he seemed in the trailers, which came off more as a Forrest Gump-esque kind of performance, with the slight southern drawl and all.

That much I will agree with - it felt more like the Mister Rogers aspect of the movie was something of a subplot to the arc of the writer who was interviewing him . . . but then again, I think that was actually supposed to be the point of the movie.

Yay, I got a copy after all, it just arrived today! Matter of fact, I see I received #117 of 150, so I guess I donated just in the right amount of time. This is so cool!

I was kind of hoping the Road Trip segments would play more like Big Bird's postcards from the early 90s, and while there are similarities, the Road Trip segments to feel a little simplistic in comparison . . . but at the same time, hey, at least we're getting some Big Bird involvement in each...

Of course it is - ordinary people on YouTube don't have that kind of money! And what makes it worse is that even though we're now responsible for labeling our own content, if YouTube's algorithms detect that our content is "mislabeled," that will result in our getting fined and our content...

Sooo . . . I got a little more emotional than I thought I would seeing this movie.

There's still so many gray areas with this, that it's making everybody confused and worried about what they should even do. I think the idea of actually fining people for their videos is what's scaring people.

The desserts usually fall on me to make every year, and I do remember one year attempting to make a homemade pecan pie . . . I don't know what I did wrong, but it turned out more like a pecan cobbler instead. :smirk:
