Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
It was weird to see a WOTS thing turn up. It felt like that Shape DVD that came out a few years ago that was just, "Hey, let's cram a buncha shape cartoons and films on this puppy" and a WOTS thing showed up randomly too.
They only replaced the outside signage.
This dude claimed there was a new Muppet movie happening with a bogus celebrity cast. I wouldn't listen to a single thing he says.
Having never watched FOTB, my bias would be toward the Muppets. But your post says it's ironic that the two aired on ABC and one got cancelled. FOTB was an established, well-liked series at that point. I see literally no irony. I don't get what point you're trying to make.
And it's up: http://www.sesamestreet.org/
Not that much different than the previous. You do need to create a (free) login in order to view all the content (there appears to be some new videos to the site, but nothing "classic").
I liked it, seeing Oscar with such a large role. And seeing the Count out and about; I don't think he's even been in a street story since Matt took over (which was 2013). And nice to have cameos by Telly, 2-Head and Mr. Johnson.
I'm 80% sure that Redusa's rap was supposed to be a spoof of "My...
Believe me, if there's more stuff out there, the Jim Henson Legacy would be actively searching for it. Or, if places had the footage, they'd be contacting them about it.
I just got this email, because I apparently had an account on "Sesame Street Go" when that was a thing:
So, it seems the .org site is getting some type of major update and new stuff will be added (maybe more classic clips? I doubt anything that hasn't been seen, but in higher quality no doubt).
I honestly don't pay 100% to what people have uploaded, so I have no clue if something from NantoVision or whoever is removed unless it's a popular thing.
Full home videos I can understand, street scenes not so much. I've gotten some copyright notices on some things SW hasn't even put online...
Pretty sweet episode. It's nice to see Prairie get such a prominent role again. And they very lightly touched upon Rosita's dad being in the army; I didn't think they'd acknowledge those developments on the show.
Cute bit with James Corden too. Not often Grover's not the dumbest one in the...
Imma throw this math out again, since I guess I have to all the time:
There was no discernible "classic" period, except what the fans considered. When SS.org relaunched in 2008, "classic" applied to all material before fall 1993 (Season 25); a 15 year difference.
Now, it's been nearly ten...
