Early (pre-Kevin Clash) Elmo appearances (Brian Muehl and Richard Hunt)

Aw, I like Brian's Telly. He has a lot of emotional honesty with the character. Maybe we just haven't seen enough of him to fully judge, while there's 20+ years of Marty as Telly readily availible to us.

What happened to the Furchester Hotel?

Keep in mind, these were produced for foreign markets, which do childrens programming much differently. I mean, even now, look at Cartoon Network and how they handle new episodes of Steven Universe or Teen Titans Go - they show new 11 minute episodes, not new 22 minute ones.

    Sully After Richard Hunt

I understand letting those characters retire because of Richard. But, like, Sonny Friendly was apparently not sacred enough to be recasted the following season. And even then, it took them over a decade later to realize, "Hey, David took over a couple of Richard's Sesame characters. Why not do...

What happened to the Furchester Hotel?

That article's from 2016. They must've considered the first season of 52 episodes two seasons of 26 episodes, thus considered the same with the second season. I don't think we'll see any more of it. 52 episodes is a lot for a kids' series (even if they're only 11 minutes).

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4908 - Play Time

One more thing: Any time Nina speaks in Spanish, it never feels natural; it always sounds forced.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4908 - Play Time

I had, like, 0% interest in this. Except the Two-Headed Monster as a one-man band, which is something I can't believe they haven't done yet.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4907 - New Year's Eve on Sesame Street

Nothing new but the street story (the H - Holiday film was originally used on the PBS airing of the recent Christmas special). I guess it was okay - that new Elmo puppet is a little freaky. It's nice Telly had a larger role, though Marty's age and abilities are starting to show. Really, the...

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4906 - Math Magic

Eh, really the only thing worth mentioning is the return of Mumford. He still needs a little work with the voice, but it's nice to see him again.

TV Alert: Sesame Street on The Today Show Friday December 14, 2018

It looks like the Grover puppet they use on Sesamstrasse.

Emmet Otter and Bells of Fraggle Rock coming to the big screen this Christmas

According to Craig Shemin, the narration wasn't a part of the original airing or or original master of the special; it was added for the ABC broadcast. And they couldn't find the original recordings of the narration, so they couldn't properly mix it with the older master they were probably...

New Dark Crystal Series Coming to Netflix

I'm a bit weary. If Jim himself couldn't make TDC work, I don't know if the production team behind Alt/Reality & The Happytime Murders will be able to.

    Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4905 - Elmo's Factory

Sounded like Matt to me (and no, not in a "He's so good I can't tell the difference" way).

Below the Frame Season 3 Episode 1: Caroll Spinney Tribute

I wouldn't necessarily say so; he's involved in a lot of things, sure, but none of them are really of his own creation.

    Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4905 - Elmo's Factory

Rather enjoyable - was not expecting to see so much Herry Monster.

The Muppets to appear in Carpool Karaoke: The Series Season 2!

Yeah, something was definitely up with that Gonzo puppet. Dave's age/abilities might also have been a factor (see the 2016 Macy's Parade opening for similar results). I thought it was...eh. Came off mostly awkward and not all that humorous (like, what was up with that Freddy Mercury bit?)...

Below the Frame Season 3 Episode 1: Caroll Spinney Tribute

'Tis a shame, but that's the rub. It's too bad Stephanie couldn't cook up some pre-taped stuff in the meantime.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4904 - So You Think You Can Choreograph

Stephanie has totally made Prairie her own and it's fabulous. And Gladys the Cow is always welcome. It seemed odd that Jen primarily did Gladys while someone else was clearly doing Zoe's puppetry. Wouldn't it be better to do the character with more dialogue?

Early (pre-Kevin Clash) Elmo appearances (Brian Muehl and Richard Hunt)

That might be an issue we need to fix; the date used on the original YT upload might have been the Canadian airdate and I just went along with it.

Will Kermit the Frog make an appearance for Sesame Street's 50th season?

I would say at the most probable way he could re-appear is in whatever 50th anniversary special they do and he's billed as just a special guest star.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4903 - Hey! Sesame Street News!

Yeah, if the story had more room to breathe, it would've been just fine. And hey, Herry! People like that guy! The bit with KMK was good; I wish it had a punchline instead of the shoehorned "N is for newspaper" thing. And what happened to the music? It was in the YT version they posted earlier...
