I find it a little concerning that the episodes with Julia were "honorable mentions," when they are far from "dark" despite dealing with a realistic matter such as autism.

The "core group" thing is definitely there still, especially in the marketing. It seems very clear now that the stars are Elmo/Abby/Cookie, with emphasis on folks like Big Bird, Grover and Rosita (and maybe Oscar, Ernie and Bert for good measure). All the rest seem like just supporting players...

Fridays are more long-form things, like an Elmo the Muiscal/Foodie Truck/full episode/compilation, not specifically an Elmo thing (it leans more toward Elmo stuff because they get bigger view numbers, if you notice).

I've been saying that for ages. I don't know why it wasn't done after those YT ones went over so well. Something like "Popcorn" or "Stand By Me" would've played great in a theatrical setting.

No, just clips from the first episode and the "Days of the Week" song, which both seemed to be sourced from YT. It's on Hallmark Channel's website, or just go to ToughPigs and they have an article linking to it.

Those bits were the only things I really liked - matching the entries from Jim's Red Book with the video of each thing; like a video form of that Imagination Illustrated book. I could honestly watch a whole video based on that premise.

My bad, sorry I had an opinion. Something about his delivery isn't working for me. He's talking about silly puppet shows but sounds like he's reading a class assignment; there's not enough personality coming through.
