Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Yeah, they should be more like the old days. The Muppet Show never had contemporary stars like Elton John or Loretta Switt. And it certainly never did contemporary music like the Village People.
I don't understand your point. We don't know if there's a laugh track or not. And how is the...
"Landmark 50th season" might be the weakest they've done. Last season felt weak because they were doing the whole "plan the play" thing and nothing came off as a "story." Now they had the oppertunity for stories and they were mainly lousy. And don't get me started on the lack of Ernie, Bert...
Pam said in an interview that the only thing they didn't get to shoot were the new Foodie Truck bits, and presumably they were looking at early fall to shoot again. Who knows whether that may happen or not, but everything else for the season is apparently shot.

I think we all thought Ricky's Scooter was great when we first heard it and there were no other options.
Frankly, I've gotten so used to David's Scooter that Ricky's doesn't sound right to me any more.

I wish they'd only do one long-form bit in each episode. One of my big complaints is that characters have lost their niche in the show...
I would say that part of the changes were made so the central characters would each have a recognizable "home base" (i.e. Abby in the garden, Elmo's room, etc.). So they want kids to remember these places and then switching to older footage might been a little confusing.
