    Video: “Muppets Now” Official Trailer

Yeah, they should be more like the old days. The Muppet Show never had contemporary stars like Elton John or Loretta Switt. And it certainly never did contemporary music like the Village People. I don't understand your point. We don't know if there's a laugh track or not. And how is the...

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5035 - Let's Go Camping

"Landmark 50th season" might be the weakest they've done. Last season felt weak because they were doing the whole "plan the play" thing and nothing came off as a "story." Now they had the oppertunity for stories and they were mainly lousy. And don't get me started on the lack of Ernie, Bert...

    Questions about anything

30 Rock ended seven years ago; it isn't that big a difference.

    Questions about anything

Well, Gilligan's Island got a reunion movie just over a decade after the series ended.

Sesame Street Season 51 News and Rumors

Pam said in an interview that the only thing they didn't get to shoot were the new Foodie Truck bits, and presumably they were looking at early fall to shoot again. Who knows whether that may happen or not, but everything else for the season is apparently shot.

Sesame Street Season 51 News and Rumors

She'll at least be around next season, I think. I do look forward to seeing another kid actor grow up on the show, though.

Thoughts on the Puppet Heap muppets

I mean, what can really be said about them? They make puppets. They look pretty good. Gonzo hasn't looked right in over a decade, but whatever. Fozzie doesn't look too well either, but as I'm sure you're heard, they just don't make the material he used to be made out of and they did the best...

Brian was only there in a vocal capacity, and those other two were just voice rolls too.

Sesame Street Season 51 News and Rumors

I think we all thought Ricky's Scooter was great when we first heard it and there were no other options. Frankly, I've gotten so used to David's Scooter that Ricky's doesn't sound right to me any more.

Sesame Street Season 51 News and Rumors

I don't quite see Mumford or any of those older characters coming back in any big way, sadly. The focus now seems to be younger characters the viewers can relate to vs. funny adult characters.

Sesame Street Season 51 News and Rumors

Nothing on Sesame Street is permanent. The changes we have now are only 4 years old at this point. Four years down the line, we might see something different. I wish they'd only do one long-form bit in each episode. One of my big complaints is that characters have lost their niche in the show...

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5034 - Fourth of July Celebration

I would say that part of the changes were made so the central characters would each have a recognizable "home base" (i.e. Abby in the garden, Elmo's room, etc.). So they want kids to remember these places and then switching to older footage might been a little confusing.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5034 - Fourth of July Celebration

Another mess of a story. At least it was nice to see Telly and Baby Bear in the chorus; they've been much more AWOL this season than the last few.

Your Thoughts: HBO Max streaming service officially launches

I don't know, but seeing how a segment might be in one episode, but edited out of another, I can't think of any explanation that makes sense.

Your Thoughts: HBO Max streaming service officially launches

Some edits I wager are to fit in the credits they've tacked onto every episode to ensure they stay under an hour.
