I've seen thumbnails of YouTube reviews that seem very unkind, but that's probably the worst reactions I've seen.
That and every thread on the show on the Muppets subreddit has to bring up not liking Matt's Kermit. It's annoying.
Not a strong first outing, I would say. The photobombing segment was odd, but it worked, as did the RuPaul interview. Everything was kinda "meh." The framing scenes felt too "lacking in narrative" and looked way too busy to focus on anything.
Since most websites have been saying good things...
I'm 90% certain that's Jim as the keyboardist.
It seems like they just shot a bunch of stuff between seasons 10-12 and it just got slotted/held over whenever. I guess the movies and TMS really impeded the insert taping schedule around then.
Nah, you're probably right. But, I've also been cold-called by someone who looked up my home phone on WhitePages and asked me if I knew the names of other Sesame YouTubers, so you can't blame me for being wary of these kinds of things.
I wouldn't necessarily call a post with a mere three words much of anything.
Certainly, one can hope more is on the way. But I've seen posts around here asking for every episode, people on the Wiki bothering others for video (beyond just Sesame stuff). I don't see it as entitlement, I see it...
Probably not. While they do have organized aspects, it's very much a kind of wiki where someone can add "Soandso looked at Suchandsuch in this way in this episode, hinting they may like them" and nobody will remove it.
You can see a second or two of that kind of thing in this video (at 3:49):
(EDIT: oh you mean Bert in the band. Who knows)
I just sent an email to Guy H. who wrote that Sesame Place book to see if he knows anything.
There's no conclusive evidence on that yet, but someone in YT comments suggested it and it seems entirely likely. We know they shot some pieces with E&B and Grover exclusively for the park when it opened and those got played on some international co-productions. None of these monster band things...
Yes, it's pretty clear why they cut all the Cosby stuff.
(and apparently some not-too-good things have been reported about John-John, which might explain why all his stuff is cut too)
Oh, okay. I think I see the misunderstanding. This isn't going to be like the newest video they put out; it's not all Zoom-call things. They shot this stuff around a year ago, long before the threat of the virus.
Bill Barretta said this new thing has no baring on whether future Muppet stuff...
