Yeah but honestly, if this happened like say 5 years ago, I wouldn't have been surprised. Now seeing that Grover has actually been playing a prominent role on SS again, now I'm quite surprised. Keep in mind this is a recyled 90's show (a time when SS itself was changing all around) , and around...
Gee, they REALLY love making those stand alone segements. But how in the world is Cookie Monster going to carry his own show? And Elmo already HAS Elmo's World, why give him another segment? Why not make it Telly's Backyard or something? Either I'm trying state a point, or I'm just jealous...
Nice listing. Could you include others like Roxie Marie, Barkley, and Natasha?
I diffanately agree with you on that. Those have to be some of hardest figurines of SS characters to find. They only one I have on that list is a Baby Bear figurine, which came with the PVC set Tyco produced in the...
Yeah that makes sense. I was thinking of the past shows they had done, which premired one season prior to when the actual anniversary date ( BBSDCO...99' instead of 00', ECB...04' instead of 05'), yet they were still being billed as the big " " anniversary shows.:insatiable:
Lol yes indeed! Mostly on Zoe's part. Though I love the Roxy Marie character, she could have been dropped, & made Grover take her lines (I kind of see him in the 'Camp Wanna Go Home' thing); if they dropped EW, they could have made room for an Abby scene(Elmo would still have the Africa scene)...
Disclaimer: Some of you may have no idea what I am talking about, but I just had to express my opinion! Lol please feel free to comment anyway.

Last night, Sesame Street Live introduced it's "latest, newest edition" to it's 2009-10 touring...
Has anyone noticed this "trend" lately? We've all seen the new Halloween films that have come out, and now they're even planning on remaking A Nightmare on Elm Street and Child's Play. I'm kind of mixed about this, espicially Elm Street since it will not feature Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger...
Exclusive!

Interesting. It's like a show within a show. In fact it could stand alone as a SEPERATE show, just have like 3 9-minute storys. Anyways, as I've said previously, I'm preserving judgement of the...
I agree Oscarfan. It's just - 'Sesame Street'. It shows no favortism torwards any character, it's just an emsemble cover. Funny since I pictured something similiar, with it being just the SS 40th anniversary sign with a black background and nothing else. Boy...is this A LOT better! I love it.
Funny, I had this crazy dream where PETA had protested SW for complaining that they used real turkey feathers for Big Bird's costume, saying it 'violates the turkey rights'.
But, isn't a turkey already dead when the feathers are plucked?
I've always wanted to go to Sesame Place. I'm definately too old for it now, Lol. My cousin may go soon(age 4), since she LOVES Sesame Street.
I always wondered why SP never added more characters besides the 'core' group, like Grundgetta, Roxy Marie, Herry Monster, Guy Smiley, Betty Lou etc...
Heh - heh - my current job is school buddy.
My future career plans are that I really would like to make a career in film and/or possibly live theater. I like movies so I want to direct them someday, even write, produce, and star in it, etc. As for the live theater, well, that comes from my...
Never seen Avenue Q, but the show came here to Detroit this past November. I definately regret not going now, I've listened to some of the songs and found them very funny. At first I wasn't mature enough to understand most of the adult situations, but now it's HALARIOUS. I hope the show comes...
I would have to disagree my friend.. The death of Michael Jackson definately sent shockwaves through the entire world - NO ONE was expecting that. Plus, the guy was getting ready to embark on a 50 date tour. If he would have made it through that tour? I doubt it. But he loved performing and...
SS Muppets are known for their very distinct and affecionate(and sometimes bizzare) personalities. Which are the best? Here are mine:
5. Herry Monster -
He's super strong I always found that quite cool, espicially when he picked up that rock to make room for the garden on Sesame St. !
