I second with the agreeing! Lol.:D
But it was a rather odd decision (whoever decided that idea...) since Frank & Steve were still available to perform for the special. It's not like this was filmed around the time when SW were still looking for someone to perform Ernie after Jim's death...
Well, this has been a thought lingering in my mind for awhile now, and I'd thought I'd ask. It's been almost 20 years since Mr. Henson passed, and looking back on all those years since, do you think he would be pleased with the results of how Sesame Street has turned out? He would probably be...
Yeah, I would say that this decade was definately a period of that, lol. I would say another example, though it occured way before, was Baby Bear's drastic makeover. Another would probably be the new Grover puppet we got in S35, with the added fur and all. And, while its quite nitpicky, the Elmo...
Honestly, if anyone has been keeping track, HOW many street scenes has Elmo been in already this season? It seems too many, since he already owns 15 minutes of his own show, but that is one of the oldest rants already. Please, give other characters a chance to shine. It's not The Elmo & Abby...
Well, I'm not 100% sure, in fact I reccomend you asking the user Starrfilter since he's an expert on these things, but I believe in the original 1-2-3 there was a scene with Oscar and something about him visiting "Club Mud". I actually saw the original, but I have little memory of it since I was...
All I can say is...that SUCKS.
Yes, I have to agree with you there. The only problem I had with Season 38 (at the time) was it was just lacking a lot of Big Bird, lol. But looking back, the pros out weighed the cons and it was a decent season, with the two EW free episodes and all...
Oh yes, Elmo and Abby are SW's big moneymakers these days. Murray is just another Telly - a great character but extremely underrated. And it was obvious it would be many Elmo/Abby street stories, as from the episode guide in the press release.
As for Rosita, I'm glad she's gettig more...
Okay...when i first saw this thread I thought, "why would they remake a movie that's JUST been made like 2 years ago?" Then I saw the trailer...
And I have to agree with Beau, this does look pretty good imo. Plus, it has a host of good well known comedians/actors like Chris Rock...
Yeah, since then I've watched a few more episodes, and it's grown on me a little. Does this change my opinion of the block format still? No. But I can tolerate it for now.
:batty:
I agree.
I caught my first episode of season 40 today (sadly, school has been preventing me from watching any, and I just got a recorder so now I start recording episodes now), which was "The Grouch Messing Machine", and was the first time I actually enjoyed watching Elmo is a while. He...
Oh yes, I saw it. I thought it was very well. I would give it an 8.0 out of ten. You're right, it wasn't Michael at his best, but I wasn't expecting him to be, since it was only rehersals at the time. I was sort of bummed he didn't really do the 'moonwalk' while rehearsing for Billie Jean lol...
I had no idea someone posted these!

These brought back some memories even though I saw this in 04'! I remember the hula part though in 98' when I saw it I'm pretty sure they had a random dad up...
What in the world? Ew...
That's not the Zoe I remember! Lol
At least this was for the 40th season only...
yeah, a landmark season where we get a mediocore(sp?) Zoe puppet.
Lol.
I know I'm so bummed! I wanted to see the new theme song everyone is talking about. Can anyone tell me what characters are in it? Like does The Count & Telly appear in it this time?
Btw, was I the only one smiling throughout watching the whole Mad Men parody? Not that just the segment itself...
I've heard this countless times, though never heard the full story. Could you please go into more detail; show me a thread about it; or PM me about it when you get the chance?
Thanks Drtooth. You & DW are the only one's making sense around here.
What kills me is everyone is judging him based on this one post, yet you have not gotten to even know the guy as a person. And since SSL is in close ties with SW, a company Steve Whitmire work(ed) for, it is possible to...
Um...excuse me?
Cowardly?
Semi - literate?
Troublemaker?
Okay, I had refused to get involved in this whole thing, but this comment just did it. How in the heck are you going to call someone a troublemaker? Have you even looked at the guy's other posts? He only posts when there's actually...
