It seems VEE Corporation (the company that produces Sesame Street Live) is set to produce a new Barney tour that starts this fall. All I can say is: WOW. It's odd since Barney and SS basically used to compete back in the day and now VEE is...

Muppet Babies Live seemed awsome! Sooo which I could've seen this (if I had been born then, lol.).
Now to see if there's a Muppet Show On Tour commercial out there somewhere...
:search: :shifty:
It was indeed Jon Stone who objected to the idea (and the many other changes) going on to the show. But as Snowth pointed out, he must've liked the Furry Arms.
I have to get the 40th anniversary book though, lol.
Dude, I literally laughed for like 10 minutes after I read this, lol. :D
Really, it seemed almost EVERY character were lacking appearances this season except Abby, Murray, and Elmo. It just made the season dull seeing these same 3 characters EVERY episode. And with the repeats of the segments...
WEGU "Roxy Marie's Train" Scene

This is just great, Roxy touring in 2 shows WITH speaking roles! It's terrific, lol. If they ever redo WEGU all together, they should definately give Roxy her train scene back.
Yeah...I laughed and though "whoa! seriously?" at the same time. It was funny IMO, but a tad rude. Just look at Maria's facial expression as soon as he spits on Elmo. She looks so ticked off from him doing that.
Yes, it was definately him. You can tell when Caroll or Matt is performing Big Bird by the head shape of the puppet. Like Matt's puppet has a more rounder head shape.
Well, Big Bird hasn't really been on much this season, and if you consider his limited screen time, you can say Matt has done...
I was very surprised - and quite amused - when seeing these clips. It shows Joe Pesci filming the 25th anniversary special "Stars & Street Forever" from 1994. In one clip, he actually spits on Elmo & also he pokes fun at Benny the Bellhop. There's also another where Julia Louis-Dreyfus says a...
What if these things had happened during the course of Sesame Street's history? Just some weird thoughts lol.
The first season was completely in black & white.
Bert & Ernie were originally written as brothers.
Big Bird & Oscar did not appear in the first season; Kermit & Rowlf were the primary...
Goodness, that's really messed up. I feel bad for all those kiddies who saw Ernie & Cookie getting hurt like that. And also that dad's child...they must've been thinking 'what the heck is daddy doin?'. It's a shame, really it is. I used to love those parts of the show, guess it's a wrap on that.
Gee thanks for clearing that up.
If I may ask, was this the only scene Grundgy spoke in, like something similar to her role in EGT? Or was she feaured throughout the entire show? Also, during the hula scene, didn't they pick a random dad to come up and dance? Why did they stop/discontinue that...
I totally agree. Ernie and Bert have just been lacking, imo, in recent seasons period, not counting Great Adventures.
I really would love to see Ernie outside of SS though, making appearances. I don't know if Steve's schedule is that busy or whatever, but if not it shouldn't really be a...
