Oh my, I really really REALLY loved this appearance. Piggy was funny and cute and everyone respected her and honestly wanted her opinions.
"If he remembers your face and your name and the model and make of your car, so he can fill out a restraining order, he's Not that into you."
Oh I loved it.
Wow! That's so exciting, I can't wait! It's great that the changes he was sent back to do were Character related, rather than story related. As in, "Go back and change this because that character wouldn't react that way." rather than, "Go back and make Wembly the brave one in this scene."
And so I might see octopuses, where you see humans. But we still refer to arms and legs as the same things. Or maybe the brain changes the words we hear as well.
Yeah. Very true. But I truly felt a lot of...hmm...maybe even respect for Piggy, which I haven't felt for quite a while. She stuck up for herself and held her corner, and was worth watching.
May I just preface with saying that I read the post above before watching the clip, and expected some old, recycled hash and a bad voice from the Pig...But in fact we had Piggy making a great stand both for herself and for women everywhere in declaring that it's good to be a diva, and that...
Waiter: Recommendations? Well if I could voice my personal opinion, and I know you probably just don't care so I don't know why I even bother except that well you did go ahead and ask didn't you...*sighs* I recommend that you and your man-fellow pay your dues and free this table for more...
To be honest I don't even get the joke of the new title! And I'm not overly sure where it came from or how it came to be applied to my poor chatty thread...But, hey, we all like a bit of Random randomness, no?
Father: Lovely...
Waiter: Any other way I can bend over backwards to serve you? Can I get you anything for dessert? Something sweet? Something soft? Something forbidden yet irrisistable?
Father: Miss Mingostone?
Waiter: *raises eyebrow*
Father: *ahem* I mean, anything for you Miss Mengostone?
Father: *takes fork back*...*ahem* Right...Er...
Waiter: Are you done with those yet? *pointing at plates* Because I'd be happy to take them away from you and stop them sitting on your table bothering you...and even wash them if you want...and bring them back with dessert...I can clean your car...
Father: *pokes at meat with fork* I can't eat this...it's undercooked. *shrugs* So...Your...er, your brother Jack's been talking about going back into education. Do you want this? *offers meatball on fork to Miss Mingostone*
Oooh! That interesting. Because I totally love the concept, but am not a huge fan of the Puppets Up character designs. I'll still be interested to see it, expecially as they are going to do stuff in different genre's!
Father: She-lizard...of course. Well, I'm glad they're happy...Found a nice little home in the country have they? I had noticed that there was something different you were carrying about these days, you know. Kenya's a very sweet young girl. *smiles thoughtfully* Anyway....yes...right. Wilson's...
