RedPiggy...I officially love this story. It's interesting, and gritty in a way. Unafraid to go where others wouldn't. Foster is fascinating. And so is M&M. I loved the scene with Bobby and Piggy (Also love that she calls him by his last name.) I've always found Samson a fascinating character...
What I find most interesting is that, although there's almost NO merchandising of him Telly Monster remains firmly in the main cast of Sesame Street week after week year after year! And yet he's certainly not the first character you think of when thinking of SS!
I'm going to spend millions investing in a mind-reading machine, to read your mind to make billions and to repay the millions I'll borrow from friends and family. So you might as well just tell me now...
Oh! I get it. The picture n the article was slightly missleading then. This WILL be interesting.
Also, I don't know that it will take from the integrity of the characters, as it will never be officially canon. More like, some people decided they liked SS and put on a show about it. Ish.
Well, I have certainly seen someone recreate the Balcony itself before, on these boards, I am sure of it. I cannot remember where though. Have you tried a good thorough MC search?
It sounds completly and utterly fascinating! And also, it's about time that the Muppets were looked at with this kind of depth, rather than just seen as an excuse for "sillyness". Can't wait to read it, especially the article about Piggy.
The Muppet Canon (Not Betsy...the other type of cannon) is loose...What can be formed of it, is usually from their "out of character" moments. For example, when Kermit and Piggy had the fight by the duck-pond in the middle of GMC...I'd concider that to be canon. I don't think it was acting...
Tomorrow I must e-mail my tutor...Go into uni to talk about something with my tutor...Get some books from the library...And get ready to go out to a friends party. Maybe sign onto MC once or twice...or three times...or a hundred...
So...I woke up this morning, feeling great, getting on with all my work, and totally happy.
And found a parking ticket on my car...
Why on a happy day? Why not when I was already annoyed and irritable and upset about something?
Congratulations Cory! You really ARE a legend! I arrived in 2002, but totally missed the Delphi-board times by about...a month. I've always looked up to ya, for being one of the originals! And am so glad that the Muppets have moved back into a revival that you can get excited about!
