Hey that's great. I remember when that came out in the late 80's or so and have heard it mentioned once in a while in recent years. I never tried it but have heard it's pretty good. A lot of the plans have their good points. One I did well with once was Nutri System. The nice thing about that is...
Yes Lisa in that hot air balloon saying that line over and over was great too!
Then Oliver later repeatedly said, "That was the most stupid thing you ever did!".
Looking in my trusty Hooterville Handbook I see the Chicago episode is a 2 parter from season 5 ("A Tale of a tail" and "You and...
Congratulations, superfan. Keep it up! (er, I mean, down!) :)
And let me ask the question everyone seems to ask when someone loses weight -> Are you doing a diet plan, such as Weight Watchers or Atkins, or are you just cutting back calories on your own?
I've had a long up and down battle...
Haha yes, that's neat. Maybe he was trying to call me. It was a 1968 episode so I would have been born. :) Hilarious also how Haney tried to even get money out of a pig ("Ten cents a call. No IOUs!")
For season 3 I especially am looking forward to "The Rutabaga Story" (I LOVE how Fred Ziffel...
A little rainy and muggy today, with more rain through the evening. Then tomorrow and Wednesday are supposed to be sunny and beautiful with temps in the 70's. Not that I can really enjoy it too much, since I have to work. But it's still nice to have. I'll have to eat my lunch outside at least. :)

Season 3 at last !!!!!!
Just checked TVshowsondvd.com as I've been doing nearly daily and FINALLY the good news of Green Acres season 3 coming on dvd! They say Sony is planning a December 6th release date. So it could be just a little more than 2 months to wait! "Green Acres" is my favorite...
Still trying to get the EC theme songs to download. But I did just get to see and hear the PBS logo of the 70's. That was nice to see. Saw it SO many times throughout the 70's but not since then. :)
I've seen this link before; not sure if it was one I stumbled across on while searching for SS stuff on yahoo or from someone else. But another good find, GonzoLeaper. And it gives some younger members here who wish to see the older stuff some good photos of classic scenes. Love that old 1970...
There were indeed a few, which I always relished. :) One Tom came out ahead at the end of was "The dancing mouse" where Jerry kept making himself appear as a white mouse. Tom had a terrible time the whole episode but emerged the victor at the very end. But one episode that was all bad for...
Actually, Totally Spies Fan put 1970 as the date for the number painter. If you look at the first on the list he put the date after the quote, not before. But with such a long list I can see how it looked like he might have meant 1981 for the number painter instead. :)
And good to see you...
Yes thanks for that, GonzoLeaper. It's great to be able to see some old EC clips. They haven't all successfully downloaded on my computer but I've gotten a few of them to, like the monoliths and the sweet roll cartoon.
Me too. There's something really appealing about a limited setting for a movie. :) I have not scene "Panic Room" but now have an interest in renting it some time, esp. since Foster is also in it. I did see "Phone Booth" back in the theaters when it came out a few years ago. Really loved it...
Precisely a reason my vote goes to Tom:
Like in that episode "Cat napping" where Tom and Jerry battle over getting to sleep on the hammock, Jerry resorts to luring an unsuspecting Spike over to the hammock with a bone. He throws it on the hammock, poor Spike leaps on the hammock to get the...
One more thing regarding "Flightplan". I saw in some reviews the movie, "Red eye" by Wes Craven was alluded to, since it was just released in August and is also a suspense thriller set in a plane. I looked at reviews for "Red eye" and see that the high majority were positive. Sounds like this...
Oh yeah I remember that one. It was probably accidental but carelessness (the teens just fixing their entire attention on jumping into the water and totally clueless about bumping into that guy). And this brought to mind another one where a guy is laying out on the beach and says, "I am dry...
Nice day, 72 going up to 75. light refreshing breeze. Was a little cloudy but now the sun has broken through. Should be great football weather for the Raiders and eagles here in Philly this afternoon.
Anyone ever seen that episode where Tom serenades a girl cat and sings, "Is you is, or is you ain't my baby"? That seems to have been a common scene people recall. It was truly memorable and amusing.
And I saw "Flightplan" now and glad I did. Thought it was a good movie (I'd probably give it 3 out of 4 stars). Jodie Foster was excellent, as expected. Good supporting characters too. Really keeps your interest throughout. Its conclusion was okay but I did have at least a couple of unresolved...
