Somewhat so. But that's the nature of a typical dream (funny how the dreams depicted in tv shows and movies often are so "normal" and logical. Ain't the way they often really go!). Good thing you ate your BK food for energy to elude those goons. I worked at a BK before as a teen but always liked...
One of the most blatant examples of a lucid dream I had was in the late 90's a few years after an uncle died of heart failure at just age 49. I dreamed we were all sitting around the living room and he said something like, "Well I'll bet my body really stinks in the ground by now!" And everyone...
I know what you mean. I've dreamed about someone or something that I haven't talked to or had any thought about for ages and then in a day or two that very person or thing comes in my life (whether at a store, a phone call, etc.) Very interesting. As I said recently while dreaming a lot about my...
I guess this means you can do your star role in T*K*O again. But that's ok. I'm better for a here and there guest appearance anyway I think. So it won't make Ziffel sniffle. haw haw haw! :)
Blast from the past: When I was a kid we played a game in the backyard called WIFFLE ball. (Also played...
One song that just came to mind from early 70's SS that was definitely Joe's voice had the word "fancy" throughout. Not sure what the title is (maybe it's "Fancy") or if the title has been listed in this thread before. I think animals, like a lot of his SS songs, were shown throughout the song...
More nice 70's but periods of rain today. More rain tonight and on through the weekend. Like I said, it's ok since we really could use the rain. But my neighbor pointed out that since this is a holiday weekend (Columbus Day) it's still disappointing. Oh well. Seeing as how Columbus had to sail...
3 to zero in favor of the Aardvark!
And thanks, redBoobergurl. It's especially pretty amusing seeing this avatar on a thread like this where I've made a lot of posts; pretty amusing when I scroll down the posts fast and see all the blue aardy's flashing by!
LOL, those are great. Yes that aardvark rocks! Beau had a thread recently asking whether you like Tom or Jerry better. I would think for the ant and the aardvark the aardvark should win by unanimous votes. His lines were great and the way he said them in that Jackie Mason voice made them all the...
Oh boy there's countless great sound effects from many things. From the 3 Stooges alone there are numerous ones. My favorite, as I mentioned in the 3 Stooge thread before, is the sound effect of a sharp object flying into someone's rear end (sound goes "boy yoy yoy yoy yoy yoing!" really...
Ah another Sesame Street question on "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?". But too bad it's just about the easiest question of all time:
For $300:
In 2005 a monster from what kids' tv show learned moderation with the song, "A cookie is a sometimes food"?
A. Dragon Tales _ B. Blue's Clues...
Thought it'd be neat to temporarily switch to an avatar of the blue aardvark. My first non-Ziffel avatar, but he does kind of resemble Ziffel anyhow. :)
You know how geese flying in the sky often make a v shape. And did you ever notice how one side of the v is often larger than the other? Do you know why? Because there's more geese in one of the sides.
Okay I should be far away enough in location from all of you that I won't be able to hear...
70's again here, but rather cloudy and looks like quite a bit of rain is on the way tonight through Sunday, esp. Friday. But that's okay. We haven't got very much rain the last couple months or so, so we need it.
Breakfast: Microwaveable ham and cheese omelet
Lunch: Mac and cheese
Dinner...
BIG congratulations Fozzie! Cool that you and Beau hit this level less than a day apart. 10,000!! Wowie!
Let's see, 10,000 posts in 3.5 years for both of you. At that pace you'll both get to the one hundred thousandth post in about 30 years! Sadly, it would appear the MILLIONTH post is too...
Well us Yankee fans are the ones with the last laugh, my friend. EIGHT straight division titles now!!
So it's the Yankees-Angels, Redsox-WhiteSox, Cardinals-Padres, and Astros-Braves. I pick the Yanks, WhiteSox, Cards, and Astros to win round one. Then the Yankees and Cardinals in the World...
Yes she died in 1997 and Eva in 1995. Zsa Zsa is still with us. I don't know much about Magda either. In my Hooterville Handbook there is a picture of her as a child but no information. In a site I looked at she is considered an entertainer, like her sisters. But there is almost nothing listed...
Too bad you've had so much "too warm for September" and "too warm for October" days, D'Snowth. But just think, if you have "too warm for November, December, January, and February" days they will feel quite nice! :D
Philly continues to be in the nice fall 70's. I love it.
