I know it's small, but I think that's what you're talking about. The rest of your report is awesome! I love that Kermit statue a lot, but $150? Eeek, I'll just have to stare at it longingly...
Oh, you'll always see goofs from Muppet movies, usually when an arm or sleeve is visible. It's more noticeable when you're watching it in letterbox format instead of fit-to-screen. In TMM, the scene just after Kermit hangs up the phone with Doc Hopper and goes outside, you can see Jim Henson's...
Great answers! Thanks for doing that!
Oh, a Pinky and the Brain/Animaniacs panel for the new DVDs! Awesome! And it starts at 4? I'll just be getting out of a panel, so I'll be able to make it! At 2-3:30 is a WB panel that's going to feature a trailer for the new Ninja Turtles movie and director...
Oh, never mind. *blushes* I was first trying to copy/paste the links in the same I.E. window and they were giving me a Photobucket error page. If I just click on the links and allow a new I.E. window to open, I can see the images. And wow, what great images they are! I would have loved to have...
Anytime it was his turn to sing. Richard Hunt had such a beautiful singing voice for him. During "It's Time For Saying Goodbye" in TMTM, I liked the part where he hugs Rowlf, then Fozzie, and then rides off on his bike, singing the whole time. Very touching moment there.
Well, since this is under the Classic Muppets category, I assumed it was the one from 1981 called The Muppets Go to the Movies.
K, sorry, BabyScooter probably meant the more recent Oz movie, eh? Regardless, go watch this clip for a nice treat! :)
My guess is they didn't want the children listening to think it's an all-adult singing record. I used to imagine the kids were singing in the recording studio with all of the SS characters and adults around them. The same imagination went with a Disney Christmas record. I wanted to be with those...
Oh, I'm glad I found this before creating my own topic. I was going to do a topic called, "You know you're a Muppet fan when..." but I guess I'll add what I wanted to say here!
I might be an obsessed Muppet fan if the patriotic music I heard playing in my store for the Fourth of July reminds...
The "Merry-Go-Round" song on their album. If you listen to the words closely, they could make you weepy! Mom and Dad understood it, but us kids didn't get the meaning of the song until years later.
Okay, that song is similar to what I'm looking for, but not quite. There was a kid's version on my Original Cast record album with a Big Bird intro. It starts with him talking and no music:
BIG BIRD: A poem that I wrote about my very favorite letter of The Alphabet, by Big Bird. (clears...
"Never Before and Never Again" from TMM. Probably because I watched it recently. Oh, and "Zombie" by the Cranberries because I just watched a fan-made video from "Now and Then, Here and There" over at YouTube.
Bummer of the date! I'll be down in San Diego attending the Comic Con. It all starts at 7 p.m. I'd have to leave by 3 p.m. incase of traffic up the 5 North to Beverly Hills. No, I'm afraid I'll have to miss it despite it sounding like such an awesome event!
I didn't go to a live taping for a show, but I was an audience participant in "Comic Book: The Movie." It was during the 2002 San Diego Comic Con. My friend and I attended the panel and they were filming the audience. We had to act with cheer's, boo's, awww's and so on. In the end, I didn't make...
I just thought of something. Back when MB originally aired, the credits weren't kicked to the curb like they do now. Many stations have far too much to say before the next show starts, so they'll toss the credits to one corner and 'blah-blah-blah' away! If MB was to now air like on a local...
Hi, WOE, or Earl!
First, I wanted to thank you SO much for sharing your Henson experience with everyone here! I love reading such stories as those. :) And believe it or not, I read through all 17 pages and have much to say, but I promise I'll try to be brief!
Now, if you can answer two...
