Yes, they do work and I would have recommended the same page. As for the soundtrack, yup, I've got it, had it for years!
Hehehe, hey, I danced to that song in a full ninja turtle costume with friends! The audience LOVED it and we won $400 out of it! :excited:
OMG! I love that show! I used to tape it everyday after school! Great comedy, clever writing, wonderful voice talent, it was an all-around awesome show. Man, I'm going to need a list of DVDs I want to buy; it's becoming too hard to remember them all! And then, I'll need a second job to afford...
I found out yesterday from my good friend Kristy who runs the VoiceChasers.com site. I cried, I was so sad to hear the news. He was also the voice of Lord Dregg from the red sky episodes of the original TMNT. What a voice, what an actor, what a loss...
Yeah, Jim himself actually thought of the idea, about starting a series of Dinosaurs living in modern times even though it's set in prehistoric times. He was so full of great ideas, but unfortuantely, some of it never left his limitless imagination. :(
As for the DVD, I would love to pick up...
I loved reading how Jim Henson hired her personally after she sent in a audition tape. He was so awesome and so welcoming to newcomers. I'm going to keep this site bookmarked to check out more updates. Thanks for posting this!
Not much is known about John, in fact, if you look on IMDb, other than Sweetums, it just mentions Additional Muppet Performer and nothing else. John is also the fourth child to Jim and is not even included half the time when there's a mention of Jim's five children. I actually feel bad for the...
That was beautiful, Tim. I still get teary-eyed at the brief scene of the memorial service from "The World of Jim Henson" of Great Performances. While I'm not sure if the footage exists for anyone to see, watching the entire service would be very hard to do. I recently caught the "Turn the World...
Directing is a huge responsibility, and perhaps Jim was unable to do it due to starring in the movie and among other things. He did direct "Labyrinth" and had no starring role in it, nor any voices (that I could think of at this time). It's either one or the other, I guess. It is possible to...
I've got two years before I hit 3-0. Before then, I hope to:
1. Have a better job, or one I love to go to
2. Have been to Disneyland Paris, or even WDW in Orlando, FL
3. Meet some famous people who won't be with us for much longer (missed out on such like Chuck Jones, Red Buttons, and Don...
Ohhh, okay, I don't remember him saying that. It's been awhile! When I first heard of the DSOTM/Wizard of Oz connection, it was on the Jagger and Kristi show on my local radio station STAR 100.7. That station is long gone (it's now Jack FM), but this news came up sometime in the mid-nineties...
We taped The Muppets at Walt Disney World and still have it somewhere on VHS. I think it's among old stuff, like "The Legend of Zelda" cartoons and the 1990 Academy Awards, plus an old Paula Abdul video called "Opposites Attract" with a cartoon cat. Ahhh, those were the times!
Constant back east weather. Humid, muggy, overcast, hot rain, and just plain nasty. It rained a little yesterday and today and it still leaves a sticky feeling. Yuck.
This reminds me of the years Disney and WB made their characters dress with the times. Had to be the early 90's to see them wearing grungy-looking clothes, or whatever was 'in' at the time. But, to see SS characters like that? No thanks, I'll pass.
I found another link that works.

Yeah, that is a bummer they never aired the segment, but wow, that kid was soooo lucky! I love reading those kind of stories.
