Actually, Waldorf and Statler were sitting on crates. And they never got in their last heckle of the show, for another loud train passed by.
And it's a good question where the audience was. Maybe they were standing or sitting around the station and probably some tourists were hanging around...
I remember Gonzo trying to do an act that featured a high platorm, a campfire, a tire swing, and a cow. He called it his INDESCRIBABLE act. But poor Gonzo never got to do it because he was booed off the stage the minute he appeared. :concern:
Another unusual, but favorite MS episode of mine that had Loretta Lynn as the guest star.
In this episode, their theater was being fumigated so they had to do the show somewhere else. And Gonzo arranged for the show to be at a train station. The show had a totally different opening with the...
Thanks MuppetDude for that Inkspot info. :)

And the little creatures who sang and danced around Sprocket when he got lost in...

Those singing clams found stuck on rocks.
The fuzzy stick creatures that pop out of tube shaped rocks.
Those little gray frogs that are ususally seen dancing around.
Mudwell the...
I can't remember why. I just heard the director, Tim Hill, noticing that Piggy had orange gloves. I'll have to watch that DVD again and let you know when I get time.
I remember a dream I had where Ernie was bugging Bert in bed. Bert turned his head and opened his mouth and he had sharp teeth. And was growling! I could never look at Bert the same again after that dream.
Yes, I've always seen Piggy wear purple gloves at all times. Except in Muppets From Space where she was actually wearing orange gloves instead of purple. And they commented about it on the audio commentary.
