Henson, MGM prime plans for film pact

More "Good Boy"-type films. More Henson stuff that don't involve puppets or animatronics. :o I guess we have to evolve.

Brian Henson is doing a good job

    >>Then they were in the right place at the right time to buy it back for a fraction of what they were paid for it.<< THAT was a stroke a genius. I'll always remember that morning. >>Brian Henson had some problems with him at one time<< BOOOY, did he. >>If anything they probably want...

Sesame Street on Deborah Norville Tonight

No, I don't think it will reair. Mainly because it really wasn't a "special" as advertised around here, it was just a regular episode of "Deborah Norville Tonight" which featured SS throughout the hour. But who knows, maybe you'll get lucky.

Sesame Street on Deborah Norville Tonight

I don't think so. But they usually have transcripts for their primetime shows on their website a few days after they air.

Sesame Street on Deborah Norville Tonight

Daffyfan2003: Yeh, when I heard her say Elmo was in the first picure, I wanted to yell at the screen. And the planned divorce episode was to be about the split between Snuffy's parents. Erine81981: It re-aired WAY earlier this morning at 2am/1c.

    World of Froud

Since Henson is trying to start this "fantasy label," they should think about reuniting with the Frouds and make film versions of the Old Oak Wood book series. I haven't had the chance to read the books, but they look great and would be perfect for film.

The Christmas Toy and The Bunny Picnic

Remembories? Two good specials, and Bunny Picnic is the best. It's cute without being the least bit nauseating. My little brother, who primarily spends his time watching Disney Channel and listening to rap music, says Bunny Picnic is his favorite Muppet special. I wish they'd make a series...

Does anyone cry when they watch Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson?

Well in a nutshell, it had the Muppets in the Muppet Theater, trying to figure out what tribute they can do for this "fellow" named Jim Henson. Throughout the special are segments introduced by different celebrities that talk about Jim's early years, Sesame Street, his fantasy films, etc. At the...

Does anyone cry when they watch Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson?

Ah, it was five years ago today that I first saw that show and recorded it off Odyssey. And I've watched it continuously ever since.

Your Thoughts: The Street We Live On

Hmm, I guess that makes sense. Didn't really notice the TV changes; I'll have to watch it again.

Your Thoughts: The Street We Live On

Well, duh (and it took me a while to get used to that). Still don't explain the 1997 thing. Eh.

    Henson closes NY office

My 999th Message From pages 156-157 of the 1993 book "Jim Henson--The Works": Home Sweet Headquarters Perhaps the best place to observe the special family feeling that characterizes the company to this day is the town house near Central Park that supplies Jim Henson Productions with its...

    Jim the Businessman

How did Jim Henson, or Brian for that matter, become successful businessmen? Seriously, they both started with puppets, then went onto producing/directing TV shows and movies, while in the process running a successful multimedia business. The reason I'm curious is because I'm about to apply...

Your Thoughts: The Street We Live On

I don't know if this was mentioned already but has anybody else realized that, in the retrospective at the end, that the TV on which the clips were being shown was labeled "CTW?" And they only did it up to 1997.

    Henson closes NY office

Anyone know when the place will be closed? I've called JHC-NY and one guy would not even comment on whether the place was up for sale in the first place.

Brian Henson is doing a good job

The EM.TV decision was stupid, but I guess he had no way of knowing. But I hope he (and Lisa) will do a good job running JHC and I hope he still has time to perform his characters.
