    A Lidsville movie

Well as they said in that documentary The Celluloid Closet, these censors were not exactly rocket scientists. ;)

    A Lidsville movie

Hmm, you never know, lol. For that matter, did you ever see the pilot episode of Thundercats? Surprised the censors had no problem with that. I mean, I know they're cats and all, but still! :concern:

    A Lidsville movie

Lol, yes I always loved that part of the interview. Good old E! True Hollywood Story, back in the good old days of TV. ;)

    Least likeable Sesame character?

I don't know, I think it was still mainly about prejudice. She does say, "he's a bird, he belongs with his own kind." What changes her mind is that the residents of Sesame Street demonstrate that they've managed to live together with all different kinds and yet still be happy. She didn't think...

The dark day of Valentines Day is upon us...

True, but then again as a Christian I could say the same thing about Easter. Isn't Jesus' death and ressurection something Christians should be celebrating everyday? Yes, I am a single person defending Valentine's Day. Sick I know, lol. :concern:

The dark day of Valentines Day is upon us...

Nothing is worse than a holiday you aren't allowed to celebrate, lol. And that's pretty much what Valentine's Day is, if you're not in a relationship, you can't come to the party. And like people have already said here, in High School you watched couples "happy in love," knowing it probably...

    Name My Puppy! (Please?)

Oh I know how hard that can be, believe me. But I have found that no matter what name you end up choosing, you'll start to like it just because you'll start to love your dog. Corny I know, lol. I did see a woman on TV once who had actually named her dog Mokey, that got my attention! ;)

    The RHLC!

Nice job, MN! Yeah he's actually been my favorite Beatles for years, pretty much since I first discovered them in 1995 (the year of the Anthology). I really find his songs about spirituality comforting. Just to make this Muppet related, lol, there's a photo of George in the '70s with a Kermit...

    A Lidsville movie

OK I'm going to say I actually enjoyed the first Scooby Doo movie, lol. It was clunky at times but the in jokes were very funny and I thought they did a good job with why the characters resenting each other and all.

    Least likeable Sesame character?

Well considering they had already done this plotline very successfully in 1985's Follow That Bird, it does sounds like their execution was perhaps lacking in this 2002 episode. It's not like they were never able to do more intense plot lines. It's that they used to do it better.

The dark day of Valentines Day is upon us...

Well it's corrupted in the sense it used to be St. Valentine's Day and is now an excuse to make people feel bad and make card stores rich, heh. ;)

The dark day of Valentines Day is upon us...

Wow, lol, you know just the other day I thinking about this thread. I'd be lying if I said this corrupted holiday didn't bother me. But at the same time, I'm healthy and successful and you never know what will happen in life. I'm just going to turn my head and wait and for Easter, lol.

    A Lidsville movie

Oh yeah I remember reading the same thing in Jerry Maren's book. Maren is perhaps best known as the Lollipop Munchkin from The Wizard of Oz, but he also played several characters on Lidsville, inside the costumes.

Why people dislike modern Sesame Street

Still, sometimes what kids pay attention to and what will actually help them are two different things. ;)
