    Songs You Can't Stand

Lol, that too. I mean I know it's about a little kid, but I would have said, "Kid, Mommy does not need nice shoes to get into Heaven! Who is teaching you this stuff?!" I mean seriously! Lol

Not true, Piggy calls Kermit "hubby" during the 30th anniversary special! :)

    Songs You Can't Stand

Definitely not. I mean I know it sounds awful, but every time I hear that song I keep thinking, "Kid, go home and be with your mother, stop worrying about the freakin shoes!" Lol

    Muppet Canon/Chronology/Timeline

You can try but you'll quickly come across a ton of contradictions. If you really want canon you really just need to choose what you like and ignore everything that doesn't fit, lol.

THANK YOU! That song really annoys me. It's just too sappy, ugh. Lol

Dad hears a "racial slur" on Fraggle Rock

I didn't get the impression the father was familiar with the show; just that he knew his daughter watched it all the time. I mean to be fair he's probably working during the day. Very true, the context doesn't make any sense and if he listened to it over and over that should have been obvious...

    Muppet Canon/Chronology/Timeline

Short answer: There is none, lol. Not even in the original Muppet Show really. For instance, Scooter is technically introduced as a character in the Jim Nabors episode, episode 6. However, according to Muppet Central's episode guide:

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Plus they even managed to include a song from The Christmas Toy! :)

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Part of the Muppets' lack of canon is to insist there is canon and then later take it back. It's very Muppety that way, lol. ;)

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

There isn't really a proper canon with the Muppets. There are too many contradictions, lol. I think MCC was a nice film, but not all that Muppety. And then from the '90s on they really started to flounder. That's why Jason Segal made such a point of trying to return the Muppets to their...

Scooter Appreciation Thread For The Most Underappraciated, Disrespected Muppet of Ever

I always felt like Scooter really did respect Kermit, even early on, it's just that he felt he had to pump himself up in order to be taken seriously. Which he probably did considering Kermit was ready to send him out the door on their first meeting, lol.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Wouldn't bother me personally. ;) But in any case, messing with canon isn't unusual for the Muppets. :)

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

The trouble really started in very recent years, mainly in interviews where Kermit talked about Piggy. Though I do Kermit liked Piggy on The Muppet Show. The character was just more stoic than in the movies.

    Songs You Can't Stand

Well yeah that was the style back then, I like it personally, lol. Here I agree with you, I have never liked this song. It just never grabbed me at all and therefore it feels like it goes on forever, lol.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

There were jokes but not as mean spirited as they have been lately. In the past Kermit made jokes but you knew he really liked Piggy. More recently Kermit made jokes and you wondered why he was even with her.

The Nostalgia Critic Thread Lives Again!

I get you but for something from 2006 to be useless is ridiculous. It's all a rigged game. ;)

The Nostalgia Critic Thread Lives Again!

Not so much progress but a greedy economy that purposely sets it up so your computer is needlessly obsolete within a ridiculously short period of time and forces you to buy a new one. ;)
