    "The Muppets": Audience Reactions

Plus it goes to show that you can't predict audience's reactions and just assume "Kids only like CGI." ;)

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

This is what I'm talking about though, you can't tell someone to not quote a religious book. That is a kind of censorship, whether you intend it or not. This is not a public school or government building. Not exactly. Jesus was saying he came to fulfill what the laws should have been. That...

Favorite non-Henson puppet shows growing up

I found out recently that TV Ontario's Public Archive has posted full episodes of the Today's Special! I wish more companies would follow suit and post nostalgic kids shows online (legally so no one can complain or pass a bill to remove them! ;))...

Frank Oz worked on a new Muppet movie script

Well it's just that I get my razor sharp jokes, character banter, poignancy and insight from Jim Henson's work. In contrast, I can't watch MFS for more than two seconds, lol. But now we're just getting into personal preference of course. :)

Frank Oz worked on a new Muppet movie script

I haven't seen the movie yet (hopefully this weekend) but I also did get the impression it was like a big budget fan fiction. Which isn't perfect but better than some of more recent projects that just had too many mean spirited jokes. Well here's where we differ. Muppet Christmas Carol was a...

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Right, really the confusion popped up with Muppets Take Manhattan when suddenly they're all college students and there's no mention of it being a movie, lol.

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

But the thing is, they already have done so in the past. ;) As for the different translations of the Bible and what it really means, etc., you can drive yourself crazy trying to figure all this out. For me it comes down to this: Me being attracted to men does not make me a good person. A man...

    "The Muppets": Audience Reactions

I agree and there's nothing wrong with that. If their kind of success could be easily duplicated, it wouldn't mean very much. :)

Cartoon all stars to the rescue.

Well watching it now I don't think it's that preachy, just blunt. I like how they say everyone has problems but you have to believe in yourself and not turn to easy answers like drugs.

    "The Muppets": Audience Reactions

Lol, well yeah Twilight is the quintessential "Drag your boyfriend to see it" film. ;)

    "The Muppets": Audience Reactions

Seriously? WOW. Lol, that's awesome. No matter what I end up thinking of this Muppet movie, I'll be happy that it's supplanting Twilight even in a small way, lol.

South Park put it brilliantly! Thank God for that show, seriously, lol. ;)

Scooter Appreciation Thread For The Most Underappraciated, Disrespected Muppet of Ever

Scooter's really the epitome of a young person trying to break into the business. Banging on doors, pulling favors (i.e. Uncle with connections), taking on back stage duties, anything to get your foot in the door. He's a very classic character that way which anyone with a dream can relate to. ;)

Scooter Appreciation Thread For The Most Underappraciated, Disrespected Muppet of Ever

Yeah I have noticed he does get a lot of hate online, which surprised me. And frankly any "worst Muppet" list that even tries to include one of the core characters is ridiculous on arrival, lol. ;)

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

I grew up with 4th wall jokes on cartoons all the time, they were funny even back then. ;)

The Christmas Toy on the Hub Nov 27

Actually that's my interpretation too. That's why they say Rugby can't be seen in Meteora's box, instead of in the playroom where the little girl left him. They always get nervous because they know being caught out of place is what gets them "frozen."

    Muppet or Man?

My friends and I have watched the Ducktales DVDs together, lol. So it's not too weird in my circle I guess. Nostalgia is in right now, lol. A coffee maker seems more like the kind of gift you'd ask for at a wedding shower anyway.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

The thing about "Muppet Show Kermit" is that he tended to be a bit stoic on these matters. You saw more emoting from Kermit (and all the characters really) in the feature films and specials.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Well the thing is it's not really against his will. Kermit does want to be with Miss Piggy, he just needs some "persuasion" to finally commit to it, lol.

    Most Touching Muppet Moments
