    Uh...that's WHAT,Telly?

Well personally I would want my three-year-old to be able to judge if something is lame, or in other words "lacking in needful or desirable substance," hehe.

    Uh...that's WHAT,Telly?

Actually according to the Merriam Webster dictionary, one of lame's definitions is "lacking needful or desirable substance." And that's not even the slang definition, so that's not out of context at all.

    Kids' shows nowadays

I agree with you about MOST of today's kids shows, but I don't count Spongebob among them. I really don't get why people dislike it so much. ::shrugs::

    Uh...that's WHAT,Telly?

Well you're entitled to your opinion but I personally don't see the word "lame" as anything bad. It's hardly a curse word. I grew up in the '80s, I heard the word "lame" all the time on TV and movies, lol. And I turned out fine, thank you. ;)

    Kids' shows nowadays

I think Spongebob was one of the good ones (it did jump the shark eventually but all shows do). It gets a bad rap for some reason but I thought it was very clever. But yeah in general I'm not impressed with the majority of kid's shows today. They don't challenge kids; they condescend to them...

What the "Stop Online Piracy Act" could mean for us USA folks...?

Makes sense, that's why you need a single, clear goal. The Occupiers, as much as I respect them, are too vague and broad in their goals.

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

Thing is, the more you tell yourself "it's a glitch," the more your OCD will say back "no it's not." I have actually found it somewhat more helpful to tell myself "OK it is real. So what?" Thus taking away the power from the OCD to answer you back.

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

I know with OCD saying "it's not real" is often the worst thing you can do. Because the more you say "it's not real" the more the OCD will come back with "yes it is," driving you even more crazy. It's weird but they actually recommend telling yourself "ok yes it is real." It doesn't mean you...

    The RHLC!

Just a head's up, if you haven't read the Memoirs of a Muppet Writer book yet, Amazon has a preview of the chapter on Richard which talks about his brief role as Reverend, lol. You just have to click on the Look Inside graphic and scroll down the index to Chapter 42. Really nice stuff! One page...

    Most evil Muppet movie villain?

What's really fascinating is that Doc Hopper has something in common with Kermit: they both have a dream they're desperately pursuing. The only difference is that Kermit realizes that people (or animals) are more important than a dream.

    The Weekly Poll #6

I think those are examples of movies coming a little too late, after a series had already jumped the shark. ;)

What the "Stop Online Piracy Act" could mean for us USA folks...?

They're just stalling the inevitable. They don't want to admit that TV (and DVD/Blu Ray for that matter) is old hat and eventually they will have to give in to new media.
