Well technically SOPA hasn't been passed yet. Ironically it's a victim of laws...we apparently already have...so I'm unclear as to why we even need SOPA at all, LOL.
They're still selling but they are definitely struggling.
Good question, heh. This is a common flaw in our system. Instead of using the laws we already have, Congress creates new ones, which will also eventually go unused!
Actually even as a kid I found that amusing in a dark sort of way, how Doc Hopper doesn't seem to understand why in the world Kermit would possibly object to this, lol.
I mean at one point he seems to think Kermit's problem with the deal is that his restaurant chain is too small time! Lol...
I agree that news stations didn't talk about it much; I'm just not sure they had any real motive beyond thinking there were other major stories. Plus there really hasn't been a ton to say. The bill has barely done anything in Congress yet and very few significant amendments were implemented.
I can see why you would think that but I'm just not sure I agree at this point. The articles I read in the mainstream publications were not all positive by a long shot. If anyone's been trying to spin it, they're not doing a very good job. ;)
Well actually I have been researching the bill for awhile so the mainstream media was definitely doing stories on it. But I think the economy and the election just tended to be the bigger stories.
Look I'm not saying I'd marry the guy, lol, I agree he's pretty frightening at times. I'm just saying I think this is pretty much the first time he's actually has feelings for someone but he's just too sleazy a guy to follow through.
You know the first time I saw it I actually did a double take, I didn't realize it was him, lol. You don't see him with that kind of smile too often in photos. I guess it was kind of bashful as the quote says, hehe. ;)
Well Scrooge is kind of an anti hero. Started out promising but then had a downfall due to weakness. I guess the "villain" in A Christmas Carol is the abstract concept of Greed.
Has anyone seen this page? You guys have to see the 4th and 5th photos down.

About the 5th photo, love this quote (and the photo itself, it's so wonderfully late '60s, lol):
Yes millions of viewers who are left uninformed. ;) Sorry I just have a grunge, lol. I'd just sooner go to a library over Wiki.
Well I do like Muppet Wiki; Wikis that specialize in one topic tend to be more accurate than Wikipedia as a whole.
You're right, Rizzo is still technically a classic character as well. :shifty:
Yeah that was my issue with the movie overall. There just wasn't enough time devoted to the characters. That said my favorite part of the movie was Gonzo's "I've been wearing this under my suit for years!" I...
