eFX Collectibles to produce Muppet Replicas

    Is EFX at Toy Fair?

So...Any Muppet Stuff At Toy Fair?

Mixed blessing here. Their Dark Crystal sculptures were cost prohibitive to own and their Fraggle line never came to fruition even though they kept advertising it. I'm not certain they understand the Muppet/Henson collector, but this does interest me. We will just have to see. The time of...

    Boom Muppet Comics published sequence

Yes, I think that's correct. It's best to keep track of each series seperately. The release dates weave into one another. The Muppet Show (and On the Road) comic is ongoing while the themed adventures come out on their own schedule.

eFX Collectibles to produce Muppet Replicas

I agree and appreciate that. I do wish that every official and unofficial statement about the posers didn't come with a "news coming soon" that never really seems to happen. I believe in the poser line, but also feel this is going to take a heck of a lot more time than we're led to believe. The...

So...Any Muppet Stuff At Toy Fair?

The one thing that seems to be getting lost in all this is what will come from Hasbro's new deal with Sesame Street. I'd love to see them market figures like they've done with Star Wars. Better quality, of course, but man...think of all the characters on cards and pegs at Target.

Disney's New Film Direction & Muppets

Disney needs to make their Marvel investment pay off even though their core characters (X-Men, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Fantastic Four and others) have movie rights tied to other film companies that are at least in pre-production for...

eFX Collectibles to produce Muppet Replicas

I reread their December newsletter that reported a high probability of a December pre-order for Rizzo. Something’s definitely up. I agree, it seems like any Muppet item from EFX is going to take a very long while no matter what the chatter is about it.

So...Any Muppet Stuff At Toy Fair?

I predict next year will be a better year for Muppet toys, but there's always ComicCon and D23 for such announcements. Those are a ways away, but its only several months away.

eFX Collectibles to produce Muppet Replicas

Aren't they at Toy Fair? Has anything new and Muppety been revealed there? It's almost March and they have no 2010 section for information listed on their website. Maybe they don't have a current webmaster? I guess we'll have to be patient. Bryan did report some contractual issues being signed...

Disney's New Film Direction & Muppets

Oooh, I agree with Disney dropping the Narnia series. Caspian cost $225M didn't make near the kind of money it should have or earn back its budget domestically. The first film made its bank on the title's name recognition beyond die-hard fans of the book series that know the stories well. This...

Disney's New Film Direction & Muppets

I just saw the Percy Jackson film yesterday. I know it's a Fox picture, but this is the type of big budget franchise-only film they plan on making. People are going to get bored quickly and these pictures won't fare very well. And didn't Disney learn anything from G-Force? It's been said...

So...Any Muppet Stuff At Toy Fair?

Those Koosh don't exist. They're just really bad Photoshop mock-ups sticking MR posers, Palisades figures and what the heck ever it was they used for Piggy on to Koosh backgrounds. The designs should look much better and far different. I laughed when seeing that picture. I like the...

So...Any Muppet Stuff At Toy Fair?

There are Muppet Koosh coming out as reported by Newsflash. Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Animal, Beaker and Gonzo.

Disney's New Film Direction & Muppets

Scan down to the last paragraph in this new article. This is so cynical, but it's where Disney is heading. They're only making films on the cheap or blockbuster franchise pieces. It seems they still have faith in the Muppets. We'll see. It also appears they will want to blitz us with Muppet...

    PETA at Westminster

:sympathy:I'm a vegetarian and don't believe in mills, fur or animal testing, but PETA has always seemed way too extreme and distorts much of the information they report. I still have a little gelatin in my protein bars, wear leather shoes and jackets and have considered eating albacore again...

    Fraggle Rock Hand Puppets

They're not perfect, but Gobo and Red are nicely done. Mokey looks pretty good too. She's a little strange around the eyes, but I wonder if you can adjust the loose looking fabric a little. Boober's a little nose-heavy and Wembley's quite cartoony. Still, they look like quality.

    Creepiest Muppet Moment

Cage dancing Scooter is fine with me, but there is one example that I do find creepier than all the moments mentioned combined. Kermit's dismissive attitude about the lost mail at the beginning of Letters to Santa. It took Gonzo to bring him around? I really wanted to smack the writers for...

We Are The World 25 For Haiti

I posted a little thread about this earlier, but it's gotten lost. The cool thing about this piece is that it was recorded at Henson Studios. I know it's for a good cause, but you can't have We Sre The World without Cyndi Lauper and all of the other great artists in the original. The newer...

    Muppet Snow White

Beautiful! I really wish Boom would make these into posters. I'd frame some of these.
