Thanks. There was a debate several years back about whether we should have used the Leprechaun Brothers  :hungry: :halo: , but I thought total green was the way to go. Glad you enjoy it.
It happens. That is some great stuff and chances are there are still a lot of people who haven't seen it yet. I just hope we get to see it on shelves! :shifty:
This is the same stuff that was up several months ago. :o It's still cool, but no new news about it. Efx is a small company, but the silence and lack of newsletter gives me some concern. Who knows?
Disney's in charge of this now so such tinkering with the Muppets is very unlikely. It just seems they like the parallel universe concept and that's fine with me.
An Excerpt
Here's the problem that fans would have with the screenplay right off the bat. Here is the first page of Christopher Weekes' "The Muppet Man" script from August 2008:
INT. DECREPIT HOTEL ROOM, MOO YORK - NIGHT
:) KERMIT THE FROG, twenty years older than we've ever seen him...
Disney's upcoming "Rapunzel" film was renamed "Tangled" in an effort to encourage more boys to see it. The term Princess is big business for Disney, but that's in toys and the home video market. They didn't fare well with "Princess and the Frog" so they've decided to swap out the name. I'm not...
My take on it was that the author mistook Jim's personality for that of the lead character in Permanent Midnight. In fact, the hallucinations and crude, decrepit behavior of Kermit and the Muppets seems lifted from the concept of the Ben Stiller film. He also stitched this together with wildly...
It seems that the Henson Company and Disney are doing this so I don't see anything wrong with it if that's the case. Disney and Henson are both invested in maintaining Jim's legacy. However, I do hope it shows enough of his human side instead of just his fame and/or this confusing...
Basically, JHC was developing GC puppet-performance technology for the Muppet Babies that they're using for Sid the Science Kid, but when they sold the Muppets and babies to Disney the project was dropped.
Personally, my first choice would have been Heath Ledger for the lead, but that's not possible. Whatever actor plays Jim will have to be in his 20s-30s rather than 40s or 50s. This is a film that deals with the entirety of Jim's life and that requires a young man. Hiring Jim Carrey or that type...
I have to admit to not being particularly happy with the initial pitch of this picture, but with both Disney and Henson involved there will definitely be massive revisions. I'm sure that Disney is just as concerned about Jim's portrayal as the JHC. We'll see what happens. He definitely deserves...
I just can't wrap my brain around the numerous articles about why the US Post Office is suffering. Everybody likes getting mail and nobody provides that service better these days than the USPS. So what's the problem?
Hey, we all order things online
The idea that fewer people are mailing...
Fraggle Rock needs a killer soundtrack, but we do want to hear Fraggle singing Fraggle songs in the movie. I'm sure the balance will be right. Cory Edwards appears to have the right take on it.
Sorry, I would have taken you up on that, but I just arranged the trade via Private Message. :o
I am interested in purchasing a couple choice pieces if you have extras. PM me about it if you do.
I support whatever best fits the role she's playing. There's no need for her to be her own avatar. She can ditch the specs from time to time.
I've had contact lenses since age 10, three months after I got glasses. I have terrible eyesight without my corrective prescription. I usually wear the...
Well, the Halloween special is due this fall, so I imagine that they'll try to tie the promotions together somehow. I'd expect a summer or fall release for the TMS S4 DVD. Just my guess.
DVD sales are way down and Disney is being very cautious these days. DVD releases must be carefully...
Mupdate -
This is a very old thread. Master Replicas fell on hard times and was sold to the Factory in the UK while most of its employees formed EFX Collectibles in California. Everyone wanted Fozzie, but they decided he was too difficult (large and expensive) to produce as their first...
