It seems that they have everything taken care of. The only thing that concerned me was reports that it took 10 pages to get any Muppets on screen. That would be a mistake, one I don't think Disney would allow. Otherwise, it seems right on the mark from the little we hear.

Welcome to the forum! :) Disney (Buena Vista) did release many great Muppet films on home video at a time when they'd been out of circulation for years! The rights have reverted back to the respective companies of ownership, but it was nice to see Disney help make the Henson creations...

I second the Muppet Movie. As for post-Jim/pre-Disney...I'll have to go with the controversial VMX. It's not a perfect special, but it got the Muppets right back where they belong...together again in the Muppet Theater (sans-childrens fables or host Clifford).

Darn Mindstyle and Vinylmation too. There's a lot of Muppety figure goodness out now and coming soon. EFX should get their pre-order up soon before the fan dollars are spent! The first product is usually the hardest, but once it's launched things usually get easier for a while.

Oooh, I really hope they'll release the Muppet posers at a slower pace. There's no reason to flood the market. More people will be able to pre-order if new characters aren't up for order every couple of months. Two posers per-year is a nice pace. Any more than three would be disappointing and...

Personally, I'd like to see stylish Muppet maquettes from MindStyle since they're bound to be pricy. Action poses of Muppets in classic scenes would be cool. Just nothing like those bland Electric Mayhem things MR wanted to put out. Well, maybe something like the Janice one. :flirt:
