    What's in a Name?

My name's not too common, I only knew one person with my name growing up. And it's usually not included in those personalized name tags in stores. But then suddenly I got a job where three different people had my name! Lol

Video: Muppets Most Wanted Official Teaser Trailer On-line

Oh I agree, my only concern is that it's too embarrassing for the character. But I know, I promised to wait for context, lol. Which one was that again?

"The Great Santa Claus Switch" should be on DVD

It's also at The Paley Center for Media (formerly The Museum of TV & Radio) but you'd have to be in LA or New York to see it.

    Questions about anything

My issue is I always have to buy petite sizes, which not every stores carries. In fact once I asked at a store and when the girl said no, I was so annoyed I loudly told my friend as we were leaving, "Well I'm telling everyone not to come here again!" Lol. But that wasn't very nice, the girl was...

Rare "Cracks" animation from 1970's Sesame Street

Exactly, from the way he describes it, it does sound like he has seem the clip recently. It just feels beyond common sense that this one random clip would be so tightly kept under wraps after all this time. I have trouble buying that the SW cares that much at this point.

Video: Muppets Most Wanted Official Teaser Trailer On-line

I think it's just because on Muppet Show they were lampooning popular hits, whereas at times in the '90s it felt like the Muppets were using current songs just to seem hip. Can't really tell which one the Jagger bit is from the trailer, so I'll wait before commenting, lol.

    TV Tropes

I remember that Hey Arnold episode about them playing hooky and then it turns out it was carnival day at school. Even as a kid I thought, "That wouldn't happen." Lol

    Finding a job

That is good advice. It's important to keep busy because very often in interviews they will ask you "So what are you doing with your time?" And if you can say it's something to do with animals that would really look good. Everyone is having trouble finding jobs, you aren't alone. Just have to...

    Questions about anything

Yeah I hear after I graduated they finally stopped worrying about it, lol. It's really just to demonstrate you are smart enough to dress well for the interview and you care about getting the job. Once you get the job you have already proven yourself and can relax a little. (Again based on the...

    Future Dr. Seuss Films

I love that special and for that reason I pray it stays off the Hollywood radar because I would cry to see it ruined. I'm sorry I just have zero faith in Hollywod's ability to do Suess well, lol.

    Questions about anything

I have to say the work place is actually becoming more and more casual. People wear jeans and tees all the time even in an office setting. Of course it depends on the office. You just have to get a feel for what's acceptable. If everyone else is casual but you are always in a suit or dress skirt...

    Questions about anything

::shrugs:: My uniform school never lacked freedom of expression. And in a way it meant more because we didn't rely on clothing trends to be unique. Plus you didn't know who had money and who didn't. THe only thing I will say is it got ridiculous that we always had to have our shirts tucked in...

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

I thought I would love First Class, and some of it is great, but some of the dialogue also made me cringe, lol. I think the contradictions were things like Prof. X and Mystique being siblings when no such relationship was ever indicated in the previous films. At the end of First Class...

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

Oh btw I did finally see that. You know I really liked the actor who played Superman, much more than I thought I would. General Zod, well I like that actor on Boardwalk Empire, but he was totally wasted in Man of Steel. And they really should have just made him a completely different villain...
