I thought it was funny :) Not unsettling at all. I guess I just have the stomach for it. For whatever "it" would be anyway. They are puppets and so nothing can shock me then because I can't take it seriously enough. Especially with all the jokes being made. They are not American puppeteers btw...
Hey thanks :) I really appreciate the feedback.
I suppose not many people are very impressed by what we have so far though. But neither am I :p We are just generating content and practising working in a studio with lighting and stuff. I actually have much better looking puppets in the works...
We've finally got our Pawns and Puppets website up. The content is still limited to some banners and a wallpaper. But we are also going to make some avatar pictures etc. And we also have some plans for more wallpapers and other sockpuppets plus a Sockpuppet Tutorial!
Feel free to pay us a...

There are alot of threads about glue here on the forum. Do a search and you'll find tons of information. Sewing to foam is basicly impossible. Because the thread tears through the foam.
:)
All I can think of is Frank and Stein. You know? The Two-Headed Monster. But I don't think that's dark purple actually.
But what I meant was, can't you come up with your own idea? Well anyway if you have problems communicating in English feel free to send me an email in Dutch.
Is Sesame Planet yours btw? I recommend that people go there if they want to know more about the Dutch Sesame Street. I always point people into that direction whenever I discuss it.
Yeah it's nice to see someone so young being so motivated. I have a few links for you on my blog:

Just check the sidebar. Most of the links there are from Buck's Puppetbuilding Resources Page:

Hope that'll get you...
Hey another puppetbuilder from the Netherlands. Pino is the Dutch Big Bird btw. or his cousin or whatever. Anyway :) Most people here probably won't give out paterns. But is it really that hard then to come up with your own design?
I noticed you're from Germany. This is a Dutch company. But they also ship to Germany if I'm correct. Atleast the site is also in German so I guess that speaks for itself then. Here's the link:

Note that this is for sculpting, molding and casting materials. I...
I really love the eyes on your puppets :) They inspire me to do something different too. Thanks for sharing the pics of those other puppets aswell. But I still like the melonpool puppet in your avatar the most.
Actually I studied :) well tonight and I noticed aswell that he had to be made of a stiffer material. But not foam. After studying exactly what he can do I'm getting more and more interrested in building something similar.
Today I bought a second hand electric bread knife for virtualy nothing. I wanted to try it out first. And it works great! perhaps in the future I'll go look for a new one though because this one heats up rather quickly. I used it together with a pair of scissors to make a small test sculpture in...
yeah there are so many different ways to go at it. Right now I'm looking for foam sculpting tools. Because that just seems to attract me more than say, making a pattern for instance. But I'll try anything once. I'm also working on a design for super simple puppets that will be perfect to make...
