ehm it's a puppetry forum as far as I can tell. And besides I warned people first. I happen to like robots wich in my opinion are also puppets.
The moderators can always choose to remove it if they find it offensive in some way. It's just a little fake blood and dark sense of humor though...

Man I would love to see that sometime
That is typical actually because lately I've been changing my outlook on entertainment in general. I can enjoy alot more than I used to because I see alot more in it now. I used to be very critical and recently found out that I was making such a big fuss out of nothing sometimes that I didn't...
Well actually I just doodle, I do not really have the skills to draw my own comis. But I am working on translating my own 2D concepts to 3D. It's hard though. Because I can't draw very well I go back and forth between sketching out 2D concepts and trying to work it out further in 3D.
I use old (but clean) matrasses and glue two parts together and cut put a square block and then carve a head out of it. Then I 'just add some fabric'. Not that I have been very succesfull so far. But what can I say? :) I just screw everything up alot. It's what I'm good at. I still have a few...
I'll give you a break :) no worries. And yes the specks for eyes are a very nice touch. I saw a monster puppet on here the other day wich had the same feature. It really does make the puppets come alive. I'd do it myself aswell if I made puppets like that. Instead I (want to) use anime/manga...
Sounds to me like it's similair to a ventriloquist puppet. You can find some info on how to build one here:

Nick Barone also has some very simple rodpuppet designs that are very easy to make.

Those puppets look great! :) I especially like the front teeth on the first green one. Gives him alot of character. Keep on making original designs like that and I'm sure they'll sell like hot cakes.
Oh I just noticed that they were attached on the outside of his mouth. Perhaps you should see...
A wise decision :) One tip for you though. I noticed that some of the rolls would be hanging almost near the ceiling and too far away from the table to be functional enough. So if you make sure that you can easily switch rolls you can always place the one you need at that moment at the bottom...
I was thinking of making a table like that aswell :) it seemed logical to me to be able to stick pins all the way into the table. But I had no idea that some people were already doing it that way.
Yes really nice :) also shows you don't really need that much space to build puppets. As long as it's all set up right. I've been rearranging stuff lately aswell. No pictures though. But now I have alot more room to work with. I'm making my own fabric rolls to hang on the wall wich you can...
