    EB Games Figs at $2.52!

I don't think anyone is unhappy for you personally Beth. It's just this isn't the first major Muppet markdown lately, there have been many - some national. They aren't good signs for the line at retail but then it's already decided that after S9 they won't be at retail any longer so the fate...

    MC Person of the Month

I think Beau should take over, he's been a part of this thing since day one and is still a regular visitor. VOTE BEAU!!!

    Need Muppet Halloween Costumes!

There are no Muppet Halloween costumes Dave. I think you may be confusing us with the Simpsons here.

Statler and Waldorf in the Muppet Boarding House

Statler & Waldorf didn't hate the Muppets, they LOVED to hate them. There is a difference. If they didn't get to live in the boarding house i'm sure they would have missed heckling them and besides, it's a free dinner every day!

    Disney's Bear

You might want to check that. Disney didn't buy "Jim Hensons Muppets", they bought "The Muppets" but they may have had an agreement to use the Jim Henson name, i don't know. The Jim Henson name is completely seperate from any of the other properties and owned and licensed by the Jim Henson Legacy.

    Series Nine, When

Well if they still keep up the free shipping for club members on the Palisades Direct items it'll work out great for members next year - no different from buying at retail really. If they only put out one figure at a time and don't carry on the shipping thing people will probably complain about...

    Series Nine, When

S10 is cancelled, figures will come out some other way online only. S9 ships first week of November like the others said. I think the playset is coming a little later - i thought i heard something about that.

    Your Top Twelve for 2005

That Gonzo is the ONLY modern version in the line EVER. The Muppets went through different looks in different periods, it's not always just about doing a variant - sometimes it is that people would prefer a popuilar look of one of the main characters rather than obscure. When they were in the...

Are the Simpsons showing signs of wear?

I'm not sure but i think Groening is now denying he said specifically that the show is ending and that the newspaper drew those conclusions from his comments. He certainly seemed to be implying it though.

    Communism

No, i think Fraggle Rock went a lot deeper than just being a "fantasy childrens show" for Jim Henson. After all, he said it was a show he wanted to change the world or something like that. That said, i don't really believe in all the communism theories but i think there might have been a few...

Fraggle Rock Ep. 97: Finding New Jobs

Well it'd be cool if someone burned it to a DVD or put it online. Sounds fantastic!

    London Fans! (Need Urgent Help)

Shops for Muppet stuff are the Disney store in Oxford Street, as well as Forbidden Planet there too. Warrick is the best person for Muppety places of interest. Don't forget the new Muppet pins at that bank in Trafalgar Square too!

    Your Top Twelve for 2005

It's a combination of a few things - obscure, female characters not selling, and also that the previous pigs (including Miss Piggy) did not sell well. I don't think Ken likes her much either.

    Your Top Twelve for 2005

Anything is possible ..... except Annie Sue in the Muppet action figure line. I think there is more chance of Palisades doing a Mickey Mouse figure!

Are the Simpsons showing signs of wear?

Yeah i think it went stale long ago and really went down further two or three years ago. They should have switched it to a yearly movie or something then. I was actually surprised they're gonna give it another five years.

    Lack of Front Page Updates

I thought around the 2000 period was pretty mad too? I dunno, the nice lady at the trauma counselling place told me that it'd help heal the mental scars if i tried to forget about it .... but yes 97/98 was the best !!!!

Are the Simpsons showing signs of wear?

They've just announced the Simpsons are ending - in 2008/9 i think.

    Lack of Front Page Updates

Y'know that sounds eerily like Muppet Central during the 1999-2001 time period ..... :o
