I dunno, i haven't really seen any definitive information about that. I'd guess it'll probably be a completely new show - i don't think we'll see a "Nanny" or anything like that. It'll probably be more like Swamp Years.
As for the voices, i have no idea. I would guess maybe the older...
Yeah i am beginning to think it's the Fraggle Rock license. Ken passed on a few recent questions about that Gobo on the grounds it's not his job to talk about licensing (since when did Ken ever worry about what area he spoke about?) so i get the feeling that he couldn't answer them without...
From Ken's latest questions post :-
I was wondering, based on the sales figures of the first four minis through Palisades direct, do you think that it looks like the Electric Mayhem Minis are going to be a reality next year?
Not likely. People just aren't buying the minis like we hoped...
They aren't using the main Muppet performers, they are apparently using some of the newer Muppeteers. I think there are some names floating around somewhere. A Henson insider posted on another forum about it a while back.
Yeah i've got my Certificate Of Swellness printed out from the Disney Company - maybe i'll frame it and put it on the mantle. At least if we get any people who aren't cyber smart coming onto MC we can be tactful and give them that link.
I think the cheesy american voiceover and the tinkly...
Hi Blinky. The Parody Posters available in the UK are here at :- http://www.oneposter.com/Category-c-AllDisplay-CID-945-PT-Posters-PID-953.html
Can't see the Spawn In The USA one at this store but i'm pretty sure it has been available.
It might have worked well in a slightly smaller scale, but not as small as the minis. I guess they could have put them out as two packs or something like AOD. You would never have got such great accessories though and they are really what have made this line just as much as the great...
The no minis at xmas thing would be because they are selling the current ones two a month rather than putting them out at retail all at the same time. I guess they think its a good idea that there be a break between waves, that and it probably costs them quite a lot to hold onto stock without...
Maybe they'll do a final couple for Xmas 2005 right at the end of the license, if the EM Band sells well of course. I guess it is possible, but it wouldn't be a good idea to do them MCC themed seeing as the last lot didn't sell.
Again, Disney are not making this show or using any of their own animation techniques to do things with it. Henson has the deal to make ALL Muppet shows and will be using their own in-house performance control system. Tests for this show have been done, character voices are in place. It's just...
The parodies were released as cards and posters in the UK. Up until about 6-8 months ago some of the posters were available in Virgin retail stores over here. There may well still be a source for them, i'll check it out. I'm not sure what the availability is in the states, i think what was...
I think i've violated all of em .... and i often have to ask mommy for help!!
Of course you aint seen nothing until you've watched the Mickey Mouse cartoon on Internet Safety! http://disney.go.com/surfswell/index.html
Sorry to hear you had problems. Basically just put it through your credit card company and they will charge it back from him for non-delivered merchandise. He doesn't have a leg to stand on saying its lost and you should have taken insurance because he himself cannot prove he actually sent it...
Yeah they've even taken the Disney out of the address which is very interesting. I think as far as the "higher ups" are concerned they want to keep the Muppets seperate from Disney. I had heard quite a few things to this effect.
