I don't like them any more than you do but just because the kids like them and they are a bit dumbed down from what we used to see doesn't make the kids "sheep". Although they have probably been born into watching these kind of style things thats just how times have changed, they arent forced...

Very nice work Tom (as usual). I really love the full body prop costumes when they are actually displayed, seems so real. I am starting a prop collection myself, already have a few nice items.

The way i read it, it does sound like its just the Red short that is exclusive, the rest of the rundown seems like the standard DVD features of these.

I think it needs to be credible exposure tho, putting Kermit in a HSM outfit and Piggy in a Jonas wig is fake. That is not who the Muppets are, that is more like Muppets TV in France where they had Fozzie wearing a Rubiks Cube. They are trying to put them back into a modern Muppet Show type...

It sounds like it might end up that way, or at least most of them on there. It sounds to me that they will just put this out as a way to get all the episodes officially together for the first time anywhere, and then release season 4 after. I would guess we'll have confrmation soon.

I think they will release s4, just maybe not on the date expected. There are a lot of existing collectors who will want that over the complete set and might not havw the budget for it.

I think they likely have everyone still living OK'd to do the movie, especially Jerry - whether he loops or puppeteers, but i would guess he'd want to try puppeteering it. This is like the holy grail for those performers, been waiting for Fraggles to return for years. :excited:

I think the Rock sets were built up and generally made all the puppets look a lot smaller. I remember when they had Travelling Matt guest host a segment on a UK kids programming block he looked quite big too, and there is the Fraggle in the Henson museum exhibit and he looks quite large...

So its been over a day since the panel, and nobody has released even a picture of Red onto the web, let alone a cell phone video. That's highly depressing!

It says in the complete box set press release that it will have the fourth season episodes for the first time anywhere on DVD, so i guess not and they'll move the S4 set back.
