    Save the Fozzie Replica

Yea totally, they didn't exploit the presentation and marketing opportunities they could have - we never heard of these in collectors magazines like we did the figures, and it's a shame they couldn't have sold through some of the larger Disney stores or something. I don't know whether they...

    Save the Fozzie Replica

That would have completely killed the line after one poser! Piggy just doesn't sell - even the good stuff, like the Pigs In Space playset. She sells a bit in things like paper and pen sets, a nice bag or t-shirt. Other than that it's a too female specific character. I can understand your...

Fraggle Rock Season 4 may not be released separately

The DVD player or TV must have a NTSC-PAL converter built in, even if it doesn't say. Not all recent ones do - it depends on the model. I think most people with older players/tv's and also some cheaper models might have problems with this - i guess the only way is to try it.

    Save the Fozzie Replica

Oh dear, porn pirates :o Do you know if there any magazines for bear collectors? I'm pretty sure there was here in England.

Fraggle Rock Season 4 may not be released separately

Have done some checking around, the Fraggle 4 disc will only work in the USA if the DVD player is multi-region AND has a built in Pal/NTSC converter so you need to check manuals for this.

    Save the Fozzie Replica

When i get some time i will have a look around the bear collector sites, although anything is helpful, it might be better to direct people to the MR poll than start new ones everywhere. I might try mailing the webmasters of these type of sites and try to get them to feature it in their news...

Fraggle Rock Season 4 may not be released separately

As far as i know, Region 4 is PAL format (same as UK's/Europes region 2) so these discs will play for people in Europe. The USA broadcasts in NTSC which is completely different. It may be that the discs won't work on American TV's and just come up black and white or with wavy lines. Here in...

    Save the Fozzie Replica

I believe only a certain amount was shipped to the UK distributors, obviously not as much as the USA so yes, it does probably explain the demand but they're selling well, good to see. Regarding the Fozzie. I don't hold out a lot of hope, but what with the christmas film, tv shows and stuff...

Just a quick note to say all the best to Travis!

    Save the Fozzie Replica

Just to say regarding them not selling well - have friends within the UK distributors. They are all selling out and being sold at much higher than RRP. Gonzo is really the slowest one, Kermit and Animal more or less gone.

State of the Muppets - An Opinion

I think in all honesty, if the kids did reaaaaly take to the Muppets, it would be definitely a sign of the Muppet projects to come ... fortunately for us, they really need the whole "family" demograph to get the audience they would need to do anything with the Muppet brand. I agree that while...

    New Muppets Christmas Special

Yea now is the right time really for all the Christmas stuff to be shot. It may well be sorted, but if they don't act soon it will be getting a bit late.

    Bernie Brillstein dies

Very sad news, he wasn't just Miss Piggy's manager, he was also ALF's (yes, they shared a manager - he had just made it out of the slammer lol). Bernie was a big part of Jim's life, and the Muppets, and he was one of the few people to see Jim a few days before he died. Really sad news, he will...

Who Thinks POTDC Will Actually Come Out in 2009?

These films take years to make - clearly if Froud says they are still looking for financing we wouldn't see it until late 2010/2011. They might have done concept animation tests but they wouldn't have even gone into production properly without finance or distribution. They need to find all...

Your Thoughts: Studio DC Hosted by Dylan and Cole Sprouse

Acknowledged, as i said, more recently there had been some positive stuff. As to how we know whether they are Muppet fans or Disney Teen fans posting comments we dont (although u can make an educated guess if they have JonasGirl or Mileyfan in their username, which bizarrely many do, lol) but i...

    Censorship

Thanks for the replies Kev and Count. I think you do a great job moderating the forums, and a lot of people don't realise a lot of what goes on (which is good) because its subtle, like the thread renaming and merging, which i think makes a lot of sense or the member approvals. Maybe the issue...

MINDstyle to make 25th Ann. Fraggle figures!

Excellent, they all look fantastic, i'll definitely buy them. I thought Sprocket and Trash Heap worked ok as just heads as it kinda blends in as they werent tall anyway, but something about Pa Gorg unsettles me. Sculpting on him is perfect but maybe the Gorgs would have been better full body...
