Muppets Most Wanted: What went wrong?

There's a difference between laughing with the Muppets, and just laughing at them. MMW crossed that line for me.

Eleven Years Later: Disney buys Muppets and Bear

Disney has its cold hearted side, but they do understand business and marketing. The prequels exposed Lucas as only one cog of many, as far as what made Star Wars work. It was a team effort. I have no idea about these new films. I'm not thrilled about Abrams, but I do think Disney might be...

Should Walter be a main character in place of Rowlf and Scooter?

Similar voices yes, but Baby Bear doesn't feel like Hunt's type of character. Well, depends on the year we're talking about I suppose. At some point, all the SS characters caught the Elmo Sydrome and we all know how Hunt felt about him, lol.

Should Walter be a main character in place of Rowlf and Scooter?

It's OK, you're not alone in that opinion, lol. The Muppets had already done a Kermit impostor plot on Muppet Show (when the pigs took over) and did it correctly where Piggy knows he's not really Kermit but goes along with it for the sake of her career. That is Muppet humor. And frankly, I don't...

    Disney classic movies

You know I just realized I forgot two of my most favorite Disney sidekicks--Grumpy and Bashful. When I was going to kiddie drama school, I played Grumpy, pretty much the best part in the show, lol. And Bashful has some of the sweetest moments in the film. I saw a behind the scenes interview with...

Should Walter be a main character in place of Rowlf and Scooter?

See in the comics they did it right. The gang doesn't corner Kismet earlier because he's giving them reasons not to. He's easy going and doesn't order them around. But Scooter I guess has moved past his awkward 1st season stage and actually cares that his real boss might be missing, lol.

Should Walter be a main character in place of Rowlf and Scooter?

A lot of people probably didn't get to read the comics though, so it probably would have been fine to put Scooter in that position. In fact I would have preferred that because it was silly that none of the mainstay Muppets could tell they were being had by Constantine, lol.

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Thread

I'd have to see that episode (I generally avoid Red Sky, lol). As far as the rest of the cartoon, I did actually like how the Channel 6 crew got used to the turtles being around, even if it wasn't a perfect relationship. I liked the Channel 6 crew in general. They were quirky and ambitious like...

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Thread

Was he supposed to be nerdy? I know they say that, but I never got that from the character. I liked him either way. April needed a guy in her corner who didn't mind the Turtles. He was basically fulfilling Casey Jones' role.

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Thread

You know it honestly never occurred to me while watching the series. As long as you see a different character, your brain works it out somehow. Plus the two characters couldn't be more different in personality.

Snow White, Cinderella, Mulan Fave prince? Philip, Aladdin Cutest couple? Mary Poppins and Bert Fave song? Feed the Birds Last favorite...

Eleven Years Later: Disney buys Muppets and Bear

The only thing is, I really enjoyed all the behind the scenes bonus features on the Fraggle Rock DVD's. My life long love of documentaries came in part from Jim Henson (and Walt Disney, incidentally). Whereas, Disney currently has this silly phobia of admitting the Muppets are puppets.
