Thanks for the heads up. :) Apparently this going to be a two hour special. Also, according to this article:
"Playing for the $1 million top prize is Santa Claus, Indiana resident, Skip Allen and ice cream man Lamar Wilson of Lexington, Kentucky - who will be joined by surprise guest Big Bird...
I didn't know anyone made Fraggle shirts anymore and I never shop at Wal-Mart. I don't go shopping for clothing very often, but whenever I do I see nothing good in the women's section, (in regards to shirts with characters on them) but when I venture over to the mens, they seem to get the good...
Yeah, but the way he was talking he made it seem like he wouldn't even want to be part of it even in something fictional.
It's a silly thing to nitpick anyway. It's just nice to see Kermit making rounds on TV shows again. Maybe if enough people buy the book, Disney might make more of an effort...
Try this. http://www.foxnews.com/livedesk/ Then scroll down to Kermit.
And if Kermit is against frogs and pigs getting married, then explain "Muppet's Take Manhattan"?
LOL! That just cracks me up imaging that. I hope you don't mind, but I've added that to my signature.
I agree with everyone else that slang is lame. Unfortunately there's been plenty of kids shows that use it to be cool. If anyone ever saw the Sailor Moon dub, you know what I'm talking about...
I saw it, and thought it was another good Sesame Street showing in the parade. Liked the song, glad so many Muppet's and humans were there, and liked the Super Grover float as well as the usual Big Bird. (Who looked really cute.)
I was absolutely floored that Susan was there! Nice to know...
This should be in the Sesame Street section and not the Classic Sesame Street section.
Back to the topic, I know what you mean. The changes are a bit jarring at first, but there have been some glimmers of what SS used to be like in season 37. So while it has changed, there is still a little...
Fat Buddha song!
I thought it was just ok, pretty hit or miss. Not as funny as Whose Line, but IMO that's because they can't really do any physical humor. Still, it was just one special, I'd definitely like to see more.
And if TBS is going to censor the f word, they need something more...
Finally saw the season finale yesterday, (Been putting it off since I don't want the season to end) and enjoyed it. It did feel closer to classic Sesame Street with Oscar, Grungeda, the Sloppy Jalopy, and Maria and Luis acting normal. The end with Marco getting the car started and Oscar winning...
I saw these when the show premiered and loved them. Especially the theme song. (Though I prefer the version in the second clip) If they made a longer version and put it up for sale I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
I really wish someone could sub the show and put it up somewhere.
So if Bob suddenly died they wouldn't have him die on the show? I don't think so. If they were really overprotective, Gina wouldn't have adopted a baby.
On to today's episode. Another good one. Just insert what I've said all week.
I didn't enjoy seeing Wanda the Word Fairy again. I hope SW...
Gina: The birds are singing...
Big Bird: La la la....
Me: LOL!
At the very beginning I was wondering who those two guys were looking at Marco, then Gina said "Bye Kevin!" then I looked at the guys face and said "Hey that's Kevin Clash!" I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, they have to...
Daffyfan said everything I was going to say. Another great episode with lots of continuity for once! Whoever wrote these last two episodes needs to be brought in whenever they write episodes referencing past events. He/she has really got it down. (And also gives Big Bird plenty of lines for...
Like others, I was a bit worried how this would all turn out, but so far it's turning out great. SW really knows how to pull it together when it really counts. DTF covered the basics, so I'll just post my thoughts.
After the last few episodes leaving a bad taste in my mouth, this was really...
We're talking about the one where we learn where milk comes from. Not the baby one.
Personally I'd enjoy season sets, but that's not financially feasible yet.
Whoops. Didn't even realize I left something out. :o I started the second disk, but it had been a long day so I fell asleep about half way through the first episode, so that's why I didn't think to mention I had started disk 2.
It's only the first set. SW is testing the waters right now. If it sells well I'm sure they'll be included on a future set. We have to keep in mind most people buying this don't have these common clips in their possession. Once they go through the ones everyone knows they'll get to the more...
