Finally got that new laptop I desired last Saturday, and I'm loving it for the most part. Still a few hiccups, but overall great. And since Windows 10 is supposed to be the last major OS from Microsoft and will just get endless updates, it should be smooth sailing for many years. :)
We can all breathe a sigh of relief as Sherlock Gnomes failed to top Gnomeo & Juliet's opening, ranking at 4th place overall. Pacific Rim 2 was the film to beat Black Panther, killing off its reign after 5 weekends in a row.

To me, that's the most important takeaway. There's no need for MB to be like a computer game or mobile app you can't interact with. It's a cartoon first.
I felt it was a nice touch that Animal felt awful that his friends didn't trust him, and that he can be more than just the wild card. It added a nice bit of depth to his character.
Talk about bad timing. If it wasn't bad enough that the revolutionary Toys "R" Us is dead from a combination of fierce competition from both brick-and-mortar & online business, its founder has died with it, at 94 from a respiratory illness. So in this case it should be more like "Я.I.P". :(...
And another thing: the theme song is pretty cool, using all original footage of the Babies running around the backyard (which is kinda venturing outside the nursery like I hoped) with a nice remix by Renée Elise Goldsberry. Looks very dynamic compared to the original.
So far, this show has been good. It definitely captures most of the spirit of the original, including the wit, while doing some things of its own. The first episode is reminiscent of Beaker conquering his fear of the dark, except with Kermit, and doing much of its own thing quite well. Also...
The closest thing to a new R&B-type show we got was Sheep in the Big City back in 2000, which had a lot of the same irreverent fourth wall-breaking stuff from that show. Didn't seem to catch on as well with kids, which explains its 26-episode run.
One of the "commercial" bits made fun of puns...
Finally got around to see the five-parter that introduced Bliss, a girl created before the PPGs from an accidental dose of Chemical W (though Chemicals A through T were also used beforehand as a gag). In this continuity, Bliss came about because Prof. Utonium wanted to best a rival named...
Here's what Rise of the TMNT will look like.
https://www.cbr.com/rise-teenage-mutant-ninja-turles-image/
Seems like it will be a soft reboot or some alternate universe thing seeing as how the Turtles will be using magic more often, and there's mention of a new John Cena-voiced lead villain...
I always found it a bit frustrating that only the marbits were advertised and never the oat pieces. The Mad animated series clearly had the same idea. :D
When his Lou Gehrig's disease fully took effect at 21, doctors only gave Hawking two years to live. He really did beat those odds, living to 76.
I will remember Hawking best for his appearances on The Simpsons and Futurama. Those shows showed that he had a good sense of humor. :)
I don't see what the big problem is. The Grinch more or less looks the same, and we haven't heard enough of Benedict Cumberbatch's voice to really see how gruff he gets. At least this looks a lot better than Illumination's take on The Lorax, which the fangirls totally ruined thanks to the...
Reviving this thread once again 'cause I'm feeling a little nostalgic:
As a kid I was lucky enough to go to DZ and its competitor Leaps & Bounds (which was owned by McDonald's, interestingly enough) at least once. I normally don't say that today's generation is missing out on something like...
It's amazing to see Black Panther be the 1st Marvel film to stay at #1 for the 4th week in a row and take home over a billion dollars in the domestic market alone.
