An incredible man who has defied expectation of everyone in his knowledge and his will to survive. he is no longer in pain and will now at peace

When his Lou Gehrig's disease fully took effect at 21, doctors only gave Hawking two years to live. He really did beat those odds, living to 76.

I will remember Hawking best for his appearances on The Simpsons and Futurama. Those shows showed that he had a good sense of humor. :smile:

Such a shame that he passed away. Remember when Dexter's Lab did that homage to him with Professor Hawk?

Dude, this seriously made me sad when I heard he passed away.

Only the good die young- okay, not exactly true. He was in his 70's.
