When his Lou Gehrig's disease fully took effect at 21, doctors only gave Hawking two years to live. He really did beat those odds, living to 76.

I will remember Hawking best for his appearances on The Simpsons and Futurama. Those shows showed that he had a good sense of humor.

Such a shame that he passed away. Remember when Dexter's Lab did that homage to him with Professor Hawk?
