    the punchlines to leftys segments

That's also all the muppets that I can recall Lefty ever interacting with. Bert would appear a few times in the segments, but always after Lefty already ... er ... left. :)

    Happy Birthday...Everybody!!!

Yeah I agree Vic, the happy birthday threads devoted exclusively for the person with the bday is a nice thing. I haven't had a bday yet since I've joined the forum but I know it would indeed be a nice pick-me-up. And it's great to be able to contribute to celebrating someone else's special day...

How's the weather where you are?

Yeah great sleeping weather tonite! And since I have to get up at 5am, I may have to put the heat on in my car while driving to work. Naw not quite!

How's the weather where you are?

Here is BEAUTIFUL! 82F, 28C with the humidity at just 26%! Felt nice enough to go outside for my lunch break today. Gonna order a small meatball & extra cheese pizza to be delivered for dinner. :p

And it's amazing that Larry has all that hair the way Moe pulls it out so much!

    the punchlines to leftys segments

So sorry to say, Dantecat, but I have nothing of SS clips or shows. I didn't have Noggin when they had SS unpaved and whenever I caught SS after I got my first VCR in about 1984 I never taped and saved any of the shows. Sure wish I had. I think "Follow That Bird" is the only thing I have. I...

    the punchlines to leftys segments

Ah good, more on Lefty the Salesman. :) Looks like you've got most of the endings. I don't remember how the stop sign or the r&p ones ended. I don't recall the u one at all which was from 1969 and voiced by Caroll Spinney instead of Frank Oz. And I don't recall the snowman one at all (sounds...

Ernie tries to buy a scale from Lefty

Yeah the ones you mentioned I recall from the early 70's. All of the Lefty ones I can think of were 70's (the empty box, the bottle of air, the picture of four elephants, the number 8, the scale, the invisible ice cream cone, the stop sign, the letter o, the letters r & p, and the two with his...

    Neutral

Oh my, I slipped on a waxed floor and I wax floors for a living! That's almost as bad as when Charlie Brown misspelled the word beagle in a spelling bee! BTW, here's a few things I encounter from people all the time: Caution wet floor signs are up all over, and I'm in the process of...

Ernie tries to buy a scale from Lefty

Oh I was lightened up. :) But it did look like you were serious. Either way's okie dokes with me, I just thought I'd weigh in. Classic SS is one topic I enjoy expounding on endlessly. And I see that you, like me, are one of the original SS viewers. Were you in New York back then? My early SS...

How's the weather where you are?

A real nice 77F, 25C now, going up to a max of 82F, 27C. We're in our great weather stretch this week with low humidity too, until Saturday and Sunday when the icky stickiness returns (but hopefully temps still in the 80's at least). I'm sure some of you that are still in the oppressive heat...

Didja' ever get the feeling you're being watched?

And maybe I could really be Fred Ziffel. Except for the fact that he died in 1975. But then again, I HAVE been watching "The Twilight Zone" a lot lately!

Ernie tries to buy a scale from Lefty

Yeah I never took a "left-handed" conotation for the name Lefty. I thought Lefty is kind of a typical nickname for a kind of tricky or shady character like this. Sort of like the names Butch and Spike for tough guys. I'm left handed myself and don't mind either way what the significance of the...

    Remember this commerical?

Hey is one of the feeds Boston channel tv 38? When I lived in New York our cable system had that channel. I watched it a lot for Boston Redsox baseball games (funny ads for those too - "The GAME is ON! TV 38!") and the channel had reruns of some of the old classic sitcoms I love, like "The Andy...
