Your Thoughts: Sesame Street YouTube marathon Friday November 15, 2019

I'm glad I'm able to rewind because that credit crawl from season 1 was new to me!

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street YouTube marathon Friday November 15, 2019

Oh dear... If they're showing episodes chronologically, then it looks like nothing for me to get excited about...

    Attractive female humans

I thought Leela had an exotic beauty about her. One of the new additions to the cast I enjoyed (from the handful of episodes I've seen of recent years)

Sesame Street to host 12-hour episode marathon on YouTube on Friday November 15, 2019

There may be something cool, the pic of Gordon and Oscar isn't something that the Workshop has available. I believe us Collectors have it, but it does show that perhaps they are going to provide at least something really interesting

    Olivia & Snuffy

OK... Maybe @scarecroe or @Oscarfan can shed some light on this. Now, Olivia was always chastising Big Bird over his "imaginary friend", Mr. Snuffleupagus. And as we all know, Snuffy was finally seen by the adults in episode 2096... All the adults that is, except Olivia. Now, of course I can't...

What sketches scared you as a kid?

No, the Muppet Wiki entry for the illustrator doesn't make any mention of Schoolhouse Rock https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Whitney_Lee_Savage

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street 50 Years and Counting DVD Set

Unfortunately, that is true... At least the "40 Years of Sunny Days" featured more footage of him, so for anybody not familiar with his character can at least understand the sense of loss everybody felt in that 1983 scene.. For those who only get to see him for 20 seconds on this new release...

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

I was going to say something like this too. I mean, yeah, it does disappoint that there are missing shows but considering how massive the archive is, this isn't a whole lot of material

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Even more bizarre was the showing of David clips from the 70s, and the next day a "new" segment of him would appear, really showing such a drastic difference in appearance

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Watching that clip again..Anybody notice, in the beginning of the scene, Maria has her arm around David... At the end of the scene, Luis, has his arms around Maria? :frown: Wondering if the writers were already having plans on making Maria and Luis a couple by this time

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Wow! What a beautiful clip... I especially loved it when Gordon says, "Then I believe you..." Can you believe ol' crazy Hooperfan started getting a little emotional seeing this? Scenes like this prove that this was just more than a TV show geared at preschool children. Like it had been said...

Message from DePingPong on Trading SST Episodes

And what about the line "I can't live without it those (episodes)"? Umm, if you made it this far in life, something tells me you can continue to without having to harrass myself and others. I, too, apologize if this is off-topic, but this is getting out of hand. If a moderator wants to know who...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street 50 Years and Counting DVD Set

Hate to sound like an ungrateful fan, but it seems to have very little from the first 20 years. And those that are featured, it's only a few sporadic clips. Looks like no "new" footage of Mr. Hooper, David, Olivia, and a lot of the other cast members. In comparison, the 40 Years release seemed...
