PRAWNIE: Hey, anyone want any Muppet songs? I’d like to hold the title for next year! I kid, I kid… Up next, Ernie and Bert! Or is it Bert and Ernie…?

(Applause) (BERT and ERNIE come onstage)

BERT: (very obviously reading off a cue card) The “Ernie and Bert, or is it Bert and Ernie?” award is given to the member duo at Muppet Central that has the best chemistry together. This award has been—

ERNIE: (taps Bert’s shoulder) Bert… Why are you staring at that penguin, Bert?

BERT: (glares at Ernie) Because, Ernie, that penguin is holding the cue card!

ERNIE: Yes, but you don’t have to stare at him, Bert! It’s rude!

BERT: I have to! It’s the only way I can read the cue card!

ERNIE: C’mon, Bert… surely you can do it without staring!

BERT: Oh yeah? Yeah? How would you do that, Ernie?

ERNIE: Like this, Bert. (reaches forward and pulls Bert’s eyes off) (laughs)

BERT: ERNIE!

ERNIE: And the contenders for the Best Member Duo award are…

Everyone, D'Snowth had asked me to present this to you guys in response to his award:


"I can certainly feel the love from everybody back at the ol' homestead; it feels nice to know that people miss me... frankly I miss a lot of you guys as well, but I'm glad some of you all have made effort to keep in touch, that really means a lot to me, and I appreciate everyone who has... so I may not miss EVERYBODY, but I do miss a lot of you all.

I have to say I miss MC as well... the MC that I remember knowing and loving that is, sadly, from what I've heard, things still haven't improved since I've left, some have even said that it's gotten worse, and I've seen the place change for the worst for a majority of the year of 2008, so I regret to tell you all I still have no plan of returning anytime soon.

But I appreciate the nominations, and I'm honored to know that I'm the most missed member of the forum... I almost feel like That... That... That what's his name... but unlike him, I'm not gone for good.
