Ok, you guys are going to think I'm crazy but, lol, I was noticing something the other day. In the Of Muppets and Men clip and another clip, you can see Richard sort of randomly picking at the Scooter puppet to make sure there are no random threads sticking out. Lol, the only reason I noticed is because it reminded me of something I would do. I sometimes get slightly annoyed or preoccupied if something is slightly out of place, like a sweater thread or shoe lace (though I'm not especially neat).

I guess it's one of those OCD things. I don't suppose anyone else knows what I'm talking about, lol.
I know what you mean - and during Jim's memorial, when Scooter was doing the first verse of "Just One Person," at one point Richard reached up and adjusted something on Scooter's head.

And about the Muppets being on top of their game, only to lose two of their best and brightest - yes, it is sad to reflect on how the Muppets' best days are behind them, but the fact remains is that they were together, and a lot of weird, wild crazy stuff got done. And that weird, wild, crazy stuff still elicits laughter from all the "weirdoes" of the world - all 180 million of them (at least).

I have to pay attention to that the next time I watch. But I was watching this footage of an upcomig episode of sesame street when that Kevin Clash was direction and before filing started, he was going afoung te set and ever so slightly ajustin the carma and Elmo's bicycle and another pupets head, lol! I wonder where he might have got that sense of over perfection from? It's almost like it's instinct or something.:smirk:

Lol, that's a cute story, and yeah that sense of perfection does ring a bell!

I was told by my acting teacher the other day that I have a spot on sense of humor and quirky personality. I have to tell you that felt good!

...and I think they liked me!

Thanks, yeah it's been really good. It's a lot of improv which isn't my strong point. I wanted to get better at taking chances and being spontaneous. If you don't volunteer for the activities in the class, you pretty much don't get to do anything.

The other day the activity was doing 8 characters in 1 minute! It wasn't required and to be honest, my first thought was, "No way!" Lol, I was terrified of the idea. I was sure my mind would go blank and I'd end up embarrassing myself. For awhile as other people went up, I was content to just sit and watch, satisfied that I didn't have to get up there.

But after a few minutes I started thinking of Richard and how I wanted to be as good as he was at being spontaneous and developing memorable characters. I started feeling guilty, lol, so I finally stood up, sighed, "Oh ok..." And to my amazement I managed to do all 8 characters, and get a bunch of laughs! Not everything was a success, but that's what developing characters is all about.

So I'm very grateful for the divine encouragment.

Imporve is not my strong point either and I think I would freeze up if I hd to do something like that. But I think it's great that you did it and that you even got some laughs out of it too! And it's true that you do have to find out and work on the things that do and don't work while developing a character.

...I have no idea how to start this, as I've not been on here in quite sometime now, but I've got a good job now. I'm not with Voc Rehab anymore. Our state; South Carolina, is issuing a new state license plate for all passenger vehicles, it will replace our "blue palmetto" plates with a "sunrise" plate.

I am the one who stuffs the registeration card and year/month stickers page into the mailing slip adhered to each and every license plate.

It's an awesome mostly sit-down job, with only minimal attention needed, and it pays $8 per hour. No benefits, but he's working on it. ("he" meaning my manager)

A friend of my father's cohered him into purchasing a photo deal for $5 initally, and we're probably going to get more photos. (The $5 goes towards the purchase of 1 8x10 photo, and is also going towards some teenagers trip or something. We're not actually members of this ladie's church.)

I'll scan in a photo of myself and post a link for anybody who'd like to see it. It's quite nice for a recent photo of myself. I also got some more makeup, which is nice. My makeup has gone rancid with the reason of that I almost never wear the stuff. Save for lipgloss/lipbalm, and maybe a bit of pale green cream eyeshadow around my brows to lighten them up some.

We went to this place called "MW Tux" it's in assocation with David's Bridal; so everything'll coordinate with our wedding stuff. Clothing wise at least.

Me and Rob are going to Cherokee, NC for a birthday vacation. We'll be gone from the 10th, to the 14th. It'll be a fun time I'm sure of.

Well, that's the update in my direction. Hope you guys are having a wonderful time.

PS: I'll be able to join in more as my room is finally clean (I'm 21, about to be 22 and my room has to be clean for me to get computer time. For some reason, I feel like laughing at that.) and I'm able to get on every evening, after 4pm.

Edit: We'll be getting those photos in in about a month actually. We're going back on the 15th of August to choose and purchase photos. Then who knows exactly when we'll be actually getting them.

Well I've always been kinda shy, but enjoyed performing for my family or friends when I felt at ease, so I think my parents thought acting would be a good outlet. I still get nervous everytime, but I know that will only sabotage me. And when I please an audience, it's such a wonderful feeling. If you get the chance, I'd definitely recommend. It can be fun but also helpful with self confidence.

Good luck with getting benefits! I've had jobs with and without them, and having them is definitely better!
