Right on - we're all with you, Sara.

Chalk this up under random thoughts - I was just mulling over one of the stories from "Jim Henson's Bedtime Stories," the one where Waldorf learns that Statler's been secretly volunteering as a troop leader for the Junior Rangers.

We figured that was certainly appropriate for a Richard character, considering Richard's fondness for working with kids. In addition, it's also fitting that Statler's working as a Scout-type troop leader, since Richard was a Boy Scout as a kid. (Wonder what he got his merit badges in?)

You know... That's another good question to ask Steve (MuppetCast). Asked him to pose this one to the listeners: If you could choose the lineup for a Muppet States pin series, which character(s) would represent what state? Who would be on the New York pin? Ohio? Florida? etc.

Well... Now I could ask him to pose to the listeners suggestions for Muppet/Frog Scout Troop merit badges.

Also, this might be of interest to you guys... He said he'd be going on a road trip to New Jersey this weekend and bring back a very cool surprise the week after. Dunno what that could be though.

Road trip to NJ, hmm? Call me crazy, but why do I have a hunch that he's heading for a certain neck of the woods in northeast Bergen County?

All sounds quite intriguing. We'll have to grill him about it when he gets back...(sees a group of monsters dragging out a barbecue) Not that kind of grill, idiots!

Well... If you read his Twitter Feed updates at the podcast's website, you might be able to sleuth it out in one clue, just like Salem solved his family secret.

"...heading over to Jane Hunt's house." Yeah, that is pretty obvious.

Do fill us in on what you two talk about, okay, Steve?

Oh... I'm sure he will. That'll probably be the August 10 episode, #70, though it could be delayed a bit by other features. Lookng forward to it and the MTM special episode.
BTW: If you listened to Episode 68, then you'll notice another of Richard's relatives narrating what could be a warm-up for the podcast's review of the movie.

That's great! Yes I need some good news after the disapointing Fraggle news. I'm still in dreadful shock. There's still so much that's wrong with this world.
