Ugh, so close and yet so far! Tough Pigs has posted an article about a new Jim Henson exhibit at the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, Georgia:

"The Muppet performers receive a fairly decent shout-out; a bunch of head shots (I immediately fall in love with a photo of Richard Hunt holding Scooter and wearing a cowboy hat) surround a quote about how the players used to bounce off each other."

"I can’t stop looking at a pillar featuring a lovely floor-to-ceiling picture of Frank, Jim, and Richard as Bert and Ernie."

Unfortunately, there was no photography allowed at the center! Grr, don't you hate that? Well...now I have a reason to visit Atlanta, Georgia...some day...lol.

.....Right about now I'm wishing we had transporters like on Star Trek! lol

I loved that new Forgetful Jones link heralde. He may have his memory problems but it seems at least he can temporarily remember some things when he tries really hard.

And Sara. I'm sorry I forgot to say this earlier but I wish you all the very best with your new blog.

Yup, which is very inspirational. He never gives up, he just trying with the help of his friends.

And btw, that clip is from the episode where they found out Mr. Hooper died. Excellent way to start the show.

That's incredible heralde.
Ya know I noticed the numbers 1839, if I remember rightly. (Forgetful would be proud I'm sure) I always used to wonder about those 4 digit numbers at the beginning of each episode when I sometimes watched it. I thought maybe they're episode numbers.
Does this mean that Mr.Hooper was discovered to be dead on the 1839th episode of Sesame Street?

Yup, they're episode numbers. I often wonder what made the creators decide to include them, most shows don't. Still, it does show pride in your work.

Hey, guys, I've been hearing something from the rumor mill.

The word on the street is that the Muppet Cast tribute show for Richard might be airing very soon, perhaps this week. There have been hints that it could be up as early as tonight, but those haven't been officially confirmed.

Oh dash it all. :frown:
I went to have a look at the Rocky Mountain Holiday clips you posted links to heralde and they have all been removed due to violation of terms of use.
Why do some people always have to spoil things for the rest of us sometimes? :grouchy:

It's because of a little something called copyright. That's the way it is, man.

Anyway, I sent along a comment to throw into the M-Cast tribute for Richard. I think it went roughly like this: Richard was a brilliant Muppet performer who's been making me laugh since I was a kid. Most of us never got to meet him, but through his work with the Muppets, he became a best friend to Muppet fans all over the globe. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that I really wish I could have met Richard in person. Rest in peace, Richard, and thanks for all the laughs and Muppet silliness.

I figured that most of the juicy trivia bits had already been covered, so I just thought I'd send in a fan's sentiments, ya know? :flirt:
